We are pleased to share that we the team Nirmaan today visited Fakir Mohan Medical College and Hospital in Balasore, Odisha. Our purpose was to assess the situation and extend support to the victims of the train accident that occurred near Bahanaga railway station.

The train accident resulted in over 200+injured patients being admitted to the Balasore District Hospital. we had the opportunity to meet some of these victims and provide them with moral support and assistance. We are committed to helping them in their recovery process and ensuring they receive the necessary medical attention.

Furthermore, we also learned that around 900+ injured individuals were admitted to the SCB Medical College Cuttack and unfortunately, there have been 500+ casualties. The deceased have been respectfully kept at AIIMS Odisha, Bhubaneswar Hospital. Our deepest condolences go out to the families and friends of those who lost their lives in this tragic incident.

During our visit, we had the privilege of meeting with the Balasore District Collector, Sri Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde. We are grateful for his positive response to the Nirmaan Disaster Project, which aims to provide relief, rehabilitation, and support to those affected by such calamities.

Nirmaan is fully committed to working closely with the local authorities, hospitals, and other organizations to ensure that all necessary measures are taken to support the victims, their families, and individual Our team will continue to assess the situation, identify the needs of the affected individuals, and provide them with the required resources and assistance.
