Greenhope Kitchen Gardens Cultivating Health and Empowering Girls, Seed by Seed
The most vulnerable populations to climate change are children and women, more specifically, the girl child. However, it is also a young girl who is the greatest future savior of the planet.
Nirmaan Green Hope - Kitchen Gardens initiative aims to create sustainable and educational spaces within schools for nurturing a greener future and empowering young minds. By implementing permaculture and organic farming principles, these gardens provide fresh, locally sourced fruits and vegetables for school meals while promoting ecological awareness among students.
In July 2022, Nirmaan’s first kitchen garden was launched at the Government school for girls, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyapeeth (KGBV) at Moinabad, Telangana. Your donations will help facilitate the establishment of a year-round garden that not only serves as a source of fresh and healthy fruits and vegetables providing nutritious meals to 200 girls aged 11-15 at the school, but also ensuring strong climate action for the youth of the planet.

Vision : To create an eco-friendly sustainable future driven by young girls that also provides them health and nutrition, while gaining knowledge on environmental conservation.
Mission : Enable a kitchen garden that will allow young girls to harvest nutritious ingredients for their own mid-day meals and empower them as eco-warriors.
