National Digital Literacy mission
National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM) Scheme has been formulated to
impart IT training to 6 crore people, including Anganwadi and ASHA workers
and authorized ration dealers in all the States/UTs across the country so that
the non-digitally literate citizens are trained to become digitally literate so
as to enable them to actively and effectively participate in the democratic and
developmental process and also enhance their livelihood.
Sustainable Livelihoods to Farmers
The tribals of Dantewada are dependent on forest
and agriculture for their livelihood. The forest provides them with wild food,
medicines, fire-wood, fodder and minor forest produce. Agriculture, on the other
hand, is mainly practiced as a means of subsistence.
Threads of Hope
As part of our mission, we place high importance on women
empowerment and have taken the route of social empowerment of women
through economic independence for our programs. Our Women Skill development
centers provide necessary training in various market required skills along
with livelihoods support for getting placed in jobs or setting up their businesses.
Avanti Women Skill Development
Before initiation of the project, a detailed need assessment and area mapping will be carried out in
and around the target location, this data will form the baseline for the long-term project planning.
The Women Skill Development Center will conduct 3-month training program for women from financially constrained families.
The selected women beneficiaries can choose to be trained
in vocations including but not limited to tailoring, embroidery, bag making, beautician and the like.
Youth Skill Development
This program was initiated with the objective to train youth from underprivileged communities
as per market requirements and enhance their learning and employment potential and help them achieve
their career goals thereby paving the right direction for a better future and improving their quality of life.

this tool and they will be assessed for their suitability for a job role and/or sector.
Depending on the results, the candidate will be directed to skill
development centers or contacted for placement opportunities.
