HCL Foundation Launches STEM & Digital Labs to Empower Students

We are excited to announce the successful inauguration of two transformative initiatives by HCLFoundation, the STEM Lab (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) at Government High School, Sanath Nagar on January 7, 2025, and the Digital Lab at Government High School, Golkonda on January 8, 2025. The STEM Lab at GHS Sanath Nagar will benefit approximately 300 students, while the Digital Lab at GHS Golkonda will cater approximately to 200 students, marking a significant step toward bridging educational and digital divides. The inauguration was graced by esteemed guests, including Simi Suri, Associate Director of HCL Foundation; Shashank Khare; Mahender Kasula; Mayur Patnala Kankanala (India/Bharat), Founder & Global CEO of Nirmaan Organization; Headmistresses of GHS Sanath Nagar and GHS Golkonda. Nirmaan Celebrates 20 Years of Impact with New HQ and GICC in Hyderabad

On January 4, 2025, we proudly inaugurated Nirmaan Organization's Headquarters (HQ) and Global Impact Capability Center (GICC) in Madhapur, Hyderabad, Telangana. This is a significant milestone, highlighting our service to 4 million+ lives in 24 Indian states and 2 Union Territories with 10,000+ volunteers and 600+ employees, as well as reflecting the lives we have touched and the communities we have empowered over the last 20 years. We couldn’t have done this without YOU. Your belief in our mission, your support, and your encouragement have made all of this possible. As we celebrate 20 years of impactful service in India, we’re stepping into the future with even more energy, hope, and determination to make a difference. Empowering Lives: CGI and Nirmaan’s Relief Efforts for Flood-Affected Families

In light of the recent devastating floods and landslides in several states of India, CGI, a leading global IT and business consulting firm, in partnership with Nirmaan as its CSR partner, successfully distributed livelihood re-start kits, agriculture kits, and sewing machines to affected families in Wayanad (Kerala), Assam, Khammam (Telangana) and in Pune during December 2024 and January 2025.

Nirmaan’s team executed the following relief and rehabilitation efforts: - Distributed 10 sewing machines and 15 agriculture kits to landslide-affected families in Wayanad - 20 sewing machines to flood-hit families in Assam - 20 Kits including - 10 Sewing Machine, and 10 Pushcarts for rehabilitation efforts in Pune. - Distributed 42 livelihood re-start kits, including 20 sewing machines and 22 pushcarts with fruits, vegetables, and weighing machines to flood-affected families in Khammam.

We sincerely thank CGI and its dedicated leadership for their generous support in aiding flood-affected families. Your contribution has provided much-needed relief and a fresh start for those striving to rebuild their lives.

Empowering Future Careers: Nirmaan Hosts Job Drive for 125 Students in Ameerpet

On December 27, 2024, we have hosted a comprehensive Job Drive at our Youth Employment Program center in Ameerpet supported by ADP, providing a platform for 125 students to explore career opportunities, network with industry professionals, and attend interviews. The event was designed to connect students with roles that align with their academic backgrounds, skills, and interests, fostering meaningful employment pathways. Enhancing Education Through Art: HCL Foundation’s Uday Project at GHS Golconda

Deloitte Volunteers Empower Youth with Career Guidance Session in Secunderabad

On December 13, 2024, the dedicated team of 28 employees from Deloitte, Hyderabad, turned enthusiastic volunteers to host a purpose-driven and impactful Career Guidance Session at Nirmaan’s Youth Employment Program center in Secunderabad, supported by Mindspace, benefiting 39 beneficiaries. The event provided a valuable platform for one-on-one interactions between our beneficiaries and the experienced Deloitte employees, who offered exceptional support. These sessions allowed participants to clear their doubts about interviews, gain insights into current market requirements, and receive practical advice. The Deloitte team shared motivational stories and insightful suggestions, leaving the beneficiaries empowered and better prepared for their future endeavors. We are happy to announce the successful start of Day 3 at hashtag#NSIC2024, which began with a key session focused on Disaster Relief & Rehabilitation, a transformative initiative undertaken by Nirmaan Organization this year. The session was set in motion by Mr. Mayur Patnala, Global CEO and Founder of Nirmaan Organization, alongside senior leadership and board members. The Nirmaan Disaster Team showcased remarkable achievements, highlighting their impactful work in bringing immediate relief and rehabilitation to over 30,000 families affected by unforeseen disasters across eight states in India. Participants, including corporate partners and key dignitaries, witnessed impactful beneficiary videos reflecting how corporate support provided vital hope and aid to disaster victims during times of crisis. The session continued with a keynote address by senior leadership from HYSEA, followed by an impactful fireside chat featuring leaders from UST, State Street, CGI, The Hackett Group Inc., and others. Infosys Foundation and Nirmaan Empower Youth with Career Opportunities in Chennai

Our CSR partner, Infosys Foundation, in collaboration with Nirmaan Organization as its executive partner, successfully organized a series of impactful events for our beneficiaries of Youth Employment Program, in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in December 2024. The first event, held on December 11, 2024, at Cognizant, Thoraipakkam, was an exclusive session on “Work Readiness, Interview Preparation, Resume Writing, and LinkedIn Profile Handling,". Conducted by Cognizant Outreach, this session catered to 43 aspiring professionals seeking job opportunities or pursuing their final year of studies. The second event, a job drive on December 20th, 2024, at the Guindy Employment Office, connected 45 enthusiastic candidates with 5 HR representatives from leading companies. Through an engaging interview process, 14 candidates were successfully shortlisted for further rounds. The third event, another job drive on December 28th, 2024, at our Youth Employment Center, supported by Infosys in Arumbakkam/Koyambedu, focused exclusively on placements with MMC Infotech. The session featured an informative orientation by the HR team, detailing job roles, work shifts, and job descriptions. Out of 40 participants, 8 candidates were shortlisted for the next stages of the hiring process. This initiative showcased Infosys Foundation's dedication to empowering individuals by facilitating career opportunities and professional growth. Nirmaan Organization looks forward to further collaborating with Infosys Foundation, to create many more impactful employment opportunities for aspiring professionals.

Lingala Lift Irrigation Project Inaugurated to Empower Farmers

Empowering Young Minds: Micron Foundation and Nirmaan Organization Impact Over 800 Students in Hyderabad

We are excited to share that together Micron Foundation and with Nirmaan Organization, have reached over 800 students across Hyderabad through remarkable events in November- December 2024. - On November 5, 50 passionate Micron volunteers led a transformative session on “Being Safe in the Digital Age & Interpersonal Communication Skills”, empowering 221 students with the knowledge to navigate the digital world safely and communicate effectively. - On November 27, 7 Micron volunteers conducted an engaging activity at ZPHS Ganesh Nagar School, inspiring 150 students to embrace sustainability in their daily lives through interactive discussions and practical examples. - On November 28 at ZPHS Kothaguda School, 40 dedicated volunteers transformed the day for 430 students. The event included the distribution of sports kits, books, and stationery, career guidance for 10th-grade students, and snacks for younger students, creating a joyful and inspiring experience. - On December 6th, 2024, Micron office in Hyderabad became a hub of inspiration and joy as books and stationery kits were distributed to 45 students of KGBV Jinnaram School, ensuring they had the essential tools to succeed academically. During the program, female volunteers shared their inspiring career journeys, encouraging the young girls to dream big and aim high in their own futures.
