A huge shoutout to our incredible Microsoft volunteers, Asha and Karthik, for their dedication and expertise at our recent two-day Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop in Coimbatore and Trichy! As part of the Microsoft-supported Technology Education and Literacy in Schools (TEALS) program, sha and Karthik shared their expertise in AI and digital skills to empower government school trainers who will, in turn, inspire and educate students across 120 government schools. Through TEALS, industry professionals like Asha and Karthik are empowering government school trainers with essential AI and digital skills to support the next generation of tech learners. Over the course of two days, they trained 120 government school trainers who will now bring these critical skills to over 40,000 students across 120 schools. This ripple effect is a powerful step forward in creating tech-savvy communities and preparing students for a future rich with digital opportunity. Celebrating Sustainability and Giving Back: Daan Utsav 2024 with Bosch Hyderabad! In the spirit of Daan Utsav 2024, Bosch Global Software Technologies Hyderabad associates partnered with Nirmaan Organization to support orphan and elderly shelter homes while championing sustainability. Associates generously donated clothing and garments for residents of our Orphan and elderly shelter homes. And any torn and discarded items were recycled live at BGSW's office by our women beneficiaries into eco-friendly cloth bags. This live upcycling session prevented waste and demonstrated how discarded materials can be transformed into practical, beautiful items. Our SwaSha (Swayam Shakti) collection, a series of products made from recycled fabrics and jute, was also highlighted during the event, providing a glimpse into the power of eco-conscious creations. Bosch associates contributed discarded blankets, which were expertly upcycled into daily-use bags. Taking their commitment a step further, many associates joined in stitching these bags, experiencing the hands-on impact of upcycling and directly supporting the journey towards a zero-waste future. We extend our heartfelt thanks to BGSW Hyderabad for their enthusiastic participation and unwavering commitment to sustainable practices and community empowerment.

On October 27, 2024, Evernorth Health Services, with Nirmaan Organization as an executive partner, organized a transformative Multi-Specialty Health Camp in Dattatray Nagar, Quthbullapur, Hyderabad, impacting 320 individuals. This impactful camp provided free health checks for blood glucose, blood pressure monitoring, doctor consultations, and essential medicines, promoting wellness across the community! Under the guidance of Evernorth's India Site Leader, Ashok Venkatachalam, and HR Leader, Yadhu Kishore Nandikolla, this camp was successfully executed with the support of 15 devoted volunteers, including 8 esteemed participants from the U.S. Senior Leadership Training Program. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Evernorth Health Services for their commitment to fostering community wellness and for bringing health services to those in need.

We’re proud to have hosted a pivotal meeting titled Transforming the Rural and Tribal Landscape: Collaborative Action through Government, CSR, and Non-Profits on October 27th at Pragathi Bhavan, Telangana. The meeting was presided over by Dr. D. Anasuya Seethakka, Hon’ble Minister for Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, Women & Child Welfare, Persons with Disabilities & LGBTQ+, Government of Telangana. Key government officials, including Smt. Divya Devarajan, IAS, CEO of the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), Shri Divakar T S, IAS, Collector of Mulugu, and Smt Rajarshi Shah, IAS, Collector of Adilabad and Shri. Vedma Bhojju, MLA from Khanapur, joined us along with our 26 corporate partners. Our report on rural and tribal development initiatives in Telangana was well-received, highlighting the progress achieved through collaborative efforts. Dr. Seethakka urged the corporate partners with a compelling call to action, encouraging them to enhance their CSR investments in rural and tribal areas to fuel impactful, sustainable growth. Smt. Divya Devarajan shared valuable insights on expanding women’s development opportunities through CSR contributions, while Collectors Divakara and Rajarshi addressed both the challenges and innovative solutions needed to foster sustainable growth across Telangana’s rural regions. Shri Vedma Bhojju, MLA from Khanapur, also emphasized the need for corporate support in Adilabad district’s rural and tribal development. Together, we are paving the way for inclusive development and sustainable progress in Telangana.

On October 23, 2024, H1 Life Sciences Private Limited, generously donated essential medical equipment to Niloufer Hospital, Lakdi-Ka-Pul, Hyderabad, to strengthen the hospital's medical capabilities and enhance patient care. This impactful distribution, organized by Nirmaan, includes a Multi-Para Monitor, a Stretcher with Mattress, seven Nebulization Machines, and two Accu Flow Syringe Pumps, each vital for improving patient monitoring and treatment. On October 22, 2024, in collaboration with Osmania Blood Bank, Evernorth Health Services hosted a Blood Donation Camp at their Sattva Knowledge Park office in Hyderabad. This camp saw over 72 employees step forward to demonstrate their commitment to saving lives within our communities by donating blood. We sincerely thank Evernorth Health Services, its dedicated employees, and Osmania Blood Bank for their unwavering support in helping underprivileged communities. Through this collaboration, we reaffirmed our commitment to assist Below Poverty Line (BPL) families who are in need.

We are deeply grateful to ServiceNow for standing by flood-affected families in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, providing 500 much-needed relief kits. These much-needed contributions to our flood-relief campaign, launched by HYSEA in partnership with Nirmaan, enabled the successful distribution of 250 relief kits in both Khammam District, Telangana, and NTR District, Andhra Pradesh. We are thankful to our partner, ServiceNow, for their support during times of disaster, including their steadfast assistance to flood-hit families during the devastating floods in Tamil Nadu and Assam. We at Nirmaan Organization are thrilled to share our recent collaboration with DBS Tech India. Happy to share Dr. A.V. Ramanjaneyulu, Principal Scientist (Agro.) & Head of AICRP on Agroforestry from PJTSAU, Hyderabad, joined us as a guest speaker at . This session was organised as part of dbstechindia’s Sustainability Awareness Month Campaign. Dr. Ramanjaneyulu inspired us with his insights on the vital roles of the environment, the UN Sustainability Goals, biodiversity, and vulnerabilities to climate extremities. His discussion on practical sustainability practices emphasized how small, conscious actions can lead to a significant impact on our environment. We thank dbstechindiaKusum Makhija and Amina Mehnaz for spearheading DBS Tech India’s Sustainability Awareness Month Initiatives. In addition to this impactful session, we are proud to highlight our earlier achievements, including the renovation of a pond, plantation efforts at Agricultural University, and the mass planting of 500 trees in the Botanical Garden. We are also actively working on establishing a Dry Resource Collection Centre (DRCC) in Nizampet Municipality. These initiatives underscore our commitment to ecological restoration and community development. On October 18, 2024, Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association successfully organized the HYSEA Education Conclave 2024 at Infosys Ltd., Hyderabad, bringing together leaders from the IT industry, government, and education sectors to explore the role of technology in democratizing . We were honored to be part of the panel discussions, focusing on enhancing the quality of education for marginalized communities and extending educational opportunities to rural areas through technology. We were privileged to have Dr. D. In her address, Dr. Mulugu highlighted the vital role of CSR initiatives in transforming education for marginalized communities, urging IT companies to invest in rural education. We were proud to extend our heartfelt congratulations to the 18 corporates recognized for their contributions to Nirmaan’s Disruptive Digital Intervention (DDI) Program. This initiative has directly impacted over 20,000 students and indirectly benefited more than 1.6 lakh students through 40 Digital Labs established in government schools across Telangana. We are excited to announce the successful distribution of 53 vest coats to NRIs from the ASSOCIATION OF INDO AMERICANS (AIA) in the USA for the celebration of Dussehra and Diwali. These vest coats were crafted with love and care by the skilled women artisans from SWASHA (SWAyam SHAkti) by Nirmaan and are sourced from the finest Ikat and Pochampally cotton fabrics through the Telangana State Handloom Weavers' Cooperative Society (TSCO). We’ve also received orders for 15 more vest coats, and these beautiful pieces will be dispatched soon! A special thanks to the Association of Indo-Americans for supporting these women with each purchase.
