Many areas across India are witnessing a loss of green cover, leading to poor air quality, climate change, and diminishing biodiversity. These environmental challenges are felt in both urban and rural communities, affecting the well-being of citizens and the ecosystem.
At Nirmaan Organization, we launched the Plantation and Kitchen Gardens Programs to combat these issues and promote environmental sustainability. Through these initiatives, we aim to contribute to cleaner air, restore ecosystems, and greener spaces. Our programs engage schools, local communities, corporates, and citizens, nurture a culture of environmental responsibility. In addition, we promote organic food production, sustainable farming practices, and nutrition education within schools, ensuring that the future generation is equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to sustain a healthy environment.
“I have experienced pure happiness after witnessing Nirmaan’s large-scale plantation programs and kitchen gardens at residential and local communities. These initiatives are critical for our green future. I am now very eager to be a part of Nirmaan and contribute towards creating more greenery by volunteering."
