Dry Resource Collection Centre (DRCC) shed in Nizampet
Amid rising urban populations and rapid consumption, India faces an urgent need for effective solid waste management to curb pollution, safeguard public health, and improve quality of life. At Nirmaan Organization, our Solid Waste Management Program addresses these challenges through a multi-pronged approach, including lake cleaning drives, Dry Resource Collection Centres (DRCCs), waste segregation, recycling, composting, and community engagement.
We aim to build cleaner, greener, and more sustainable communities through collective action and responsible waste practices.
Set up Dry Resource Collection Centres for systematic waste segregation and recycling.
Conduct awareness drives, school sessions, and RWA partnerships for responsible waste disposal.
Engage corporate volunteers in cleanup drives, recycling initiatives, and infrastructure support.
Promote composting of organic waste and upcycling dry waste into reusable materials.
Train sanitation workers and citizens in best practices for waste management and eco-stewardship.
“The establishment of the Dry Resource Collection Centre will make waste segregation much easier and support better transportation of segregated materials. This initiative by Nirmaan and DBS Tech is commendable and has strengthened the efforts of Nizampet Municipal Corporation in responsible waste management.”
