physical disability not only stops a person from going to places but also reduces their chances at their fundamental rights such as education employment. It also leads to other health issues such as pressure sores,progression of deformities,reduced respiration and digestion. A wheel chair can make the life of a PwD easy by promoting mobility and enables them to have a dignified life which is their fundamental right.
A wheel chair costs 6500 INR. Our aim is to distribute distribute 500 wheel chairs to the PwD which sums it up to 32,50,000.

According to the statistics 10% of the world's population (Approximately 650 millioin people) have disabilities. It is very difficult for them to conduct the daily activities on their own which makes them dependant on others all the time. It not only gives them stress psychologically but also makes the family struggle financially. A wheel chair can reduce this to a greater extent.
A wheel chair makes mobilitiy easy, reduces the time taken to move or travel. It prevents them from falls, injuries and further impairments reducing the risk of premature death and health care cost. It increases access to education or work places thus enabling them to live with diginity.By this program, Nirmaan organization aims to distribute 500 wheel chairs to the PwD and help them lead a better life.
