Support Nirmaan Food Bank to help the people in hunger.

Food is the most basic requirement of any human being for survival. But it is painful to know that for many people it is a luxury to have food 3 times a day. Many of us have faced crisis during COVID mentally, financially and health wise and recovering gradually. But there are many people who are still struggling the crisis caused by COVID. They are orphans, PwD, old aged and mentally retarded people staying in shelter homes.

During COVID, Nirmaan has taken up many initiatives. One of them is a food distribution drive for COVID affected families, shelter homes and low-income families. We have interacted with few shelter homes in Hyderabad as part of this distribution drive. We have been in touch with them since then and conducting different activities and programs. We have observed that, the amount of donation that these shelter homes receive has reduced significantly after COVID. This is obvious as many people have lost their savings for the medical expenses during this pandemic.

This is why, at Nirmaan we have started the "Food Bank" campaign to support these people. Our intent is to support 9 homes in Hyderabad with approximately 675 beneficiaries in total including PwD, old aged, metnally retarded and orphans.

Nirmaan Action Plan

As a part of this campaign, we would like to support for the groceries and essentials required for the food. Based on our previous intervention our estimated cost for one quality meal comes to around 80/- INR. As a first step in this journey, we would like to raise 24,000/- INR in a month which covers around 45% of beneficiaries. We sincerely request your support in this regard.

• Take sessions to the elderly people on mental well being and yoga
