65% of India’s population resides in rural areas, yet over 50% lack access to essential services such as clean water, proper sanitation, and reliable roads. Addressing the absence of basic amenities, physical infrastructure, connectivity, and access to knowledge and economic opportunities is imperative for sustainable rural development.
To empower Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) and Tribal Villages by transforming them into Model Villages through holistic and sustainable development of villages.
The Village Adoption Program is a three year comprehensive initiative that focuses on seven key areas: water, energy, education, health, sustainability, connectivity, and livelihoods.
The project is structured into three phases: Planning (Year 1), Implementing and Monitoring (Year 2), and Scale-Up and Sustainability (Year 3). Through targeted interventions and community engagement, the project seeks to create lasting positive change in PVTG villages, ensuring the sustainable and long term impact.
