Technology based scams are increasing day by day causing financial loss and privacy threats to the general public. It is extremely important to learn to be safe from these types of scams. As a part of Learning & Development sessions, Timothy Tellagorla from Nirmaan’s technology team conducted a session on “Technology Based Scams” this Wednesday on 12th October 2022.
The session introduced the concept of “Deep web and Dark web” to the Nirmaan employees and outlined different ways of how a hacker attempts to steal confidential information from the users via emails and messages. The speaker has stressed the importance of not falling into the trap of such fraudulent messages or calls offering free gifts or any other financial advantages.
