Nirmaan Organization’s volunteering event at Warasiguda, in collaboration with Synchrony, was a journey of growth and development for young professionals!
From September 19 to September 23, 2023, we engaged in a week of #volunteering sessions at Warasiguda, intending to empower and prepare young individuals in the early stages of their careers for a future filled with opportunities and success.
We kicked off the event on the initial two days by helping participants explore basic #communicationskills and #emailwriting. On the third day, we raised awareness about critical issues such as climate change and #health and #hygiene. Following that, sessions on leadership mindset, #stressmanagement, and time management were conducted on the fourth day. We concluded the event on the fifth day with a session on essential #interviewskills, resume building, and mock interviews, preparing the students for the competitive job market.
These sessions were a stepping stone for these individuals, giving them the confidence and competence they need to succeed.
