About me

I am Past District Governor of Rotary District 3150 covering entire Telangana state and Guntur & Prakasam combined Districts of Andhra Pradesh. Engaged as Social worker for the last three decades mainly in the areas of Education, Health, Water & Sanitation, Economic & Community Development etc...

What

My pledge is to empower the Girl Child who will lead the entire family to brought up good citizens in future. Want to give Bicycles to Fifteen Girl Students who are going to School by walking more than three kilometers from their homes.

Why

This Bicycle will help them not to walk such far places which is wasting their time and facing hardship. As they are all economically backward and not in a position to buy their own bicycle, we are providing such facility to concentrate more on their education.

This fundraising campaign started on May 18th and will end on June 23rd, 2023.

Going to school should be a pleasure. But if your home is a distance away, walking to school can be a drudgery and worse- especially for girls. Imagine walking several miles every day to get to school with a heavy school bag on your shoulder. And the additional discomfort in summers or when it rains.

A small donation from you can change the life of the school girl who gets it

Where

To address this issue and help reduce dropout rates, one solution is to provide bicycles, which can alleviate the dependence on transportation and increase access to education. To achieve this, we have undertaken an initiative to donate 2300 bicycles to students across 147 schools at Guntur, Andhra Pradesh. Our aim is to raise 50L funds for this cause by June 23rd.
