We are thrilled to announce the successful kick-off of our new project in collaboration with Synopsys Inc to establish Kitchen Gardens in three Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) Schools – KGBV Sadashivpet, KGBV Kondapur, and KGBV Kandukur as part of the CSR project on July 6, 2024, during Van Mahostav. This initiative is set to positively impact around 1,100 orphaned, semi-orphaned, and lesser privileged girls from rural areas by providing them with direct access to fresh, organic, and pesticide-free vegetables.
Our goal is to foster a sense of environmental responsibility, promote sustainable agricultural practices within the school community, and combat malnutrition and micronutrient deficiency by giving them direct access to fresh, organic, and pesticide-free vegetables while enhancing the soil quality.
To ensure the long-term success of these gardens, we will conduct sessions on nutrition, health, garden operations, and maintenance for the students.
