Petralchenu village has been grappling with severe water scarcity issues for years, and despite over 20 attempts to drill borewells by both government authorities and private organizations, none were successful.
Nirmaan Organization intervened with support from ServiceNow The organization successfully drilled a borewell, in addition to the one they dug last year. This is part of the overall holistic development of the village through #VillageAdoptionProgram. We’re delighted to announce that the borewell drilling project in the tribal village of Petralchenu has been a tremendous success!
Petralchenu village, which is a Chenchu habitation and an aboriginal tribe that relies solely on the forest for their livelihood, now has two sources of water thanks to the Nirmaan Tribal Village Adoption Project. The villagers expressed their gratitude to our Corporate Partner, who sponsored the borewell and supported Petralchenu.
The Nirmaan Organization is honoured to have been a part of this initiative and would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the leadership of our corporate partner for their support towards a Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Group (PVTG) habitation.
This success in Petralchenu village is a testament to the power of collaboration and community service. It has not only brought water to a parched village but has also renewed hope among the villagers, who have been struggling with water scarcity for years. This initiative has the potential to transform lives and uplift the community in more ways than one.
