Project Jagruthi – About the Cause and Charity
Project Jagruthi, supported by UBS, is aimed at the Economic Empowerment of Girls/Women, PwDs, and LGBTQ+(focused on supporting Job employment, Self- employment, and micro-entrepreneurship). The fund is proposed to be utilized for tech enablement, skilling, and sensitization.
This population constitutes the world’s largest unrecognized minority’ group. Persons with Disabilities start facing challenges in accessing education and when they finish their education. Their challenges increase when there’s a lack of employment opportunities for them in the nation. We request your active participation in Inorbit Durgam Cheruvu Run 2024 and create an inclusive nation.
We are providing Economic Empowerment of Girls/Women, PwDs, and LGBTQ+(focused on supporting Job employment, Self-employment, and Micro-entrepreneurship). The fund is proposed to be utilized for tech enablement, skilling, and sensitization. They are conducting sensitization & integration workshops to raise awareness of people with special needs. This is done by encouraging their participation in mainstream sports activities through working a dedicated run for Girls/Women, PwDs, Pride Rally, etc, during the run day.
We are increasing awareness about Diversity and Inclusion and sensitizing society by designing events/workshops/conferences/roundtables with our Philanthropy Partners, Nirmaan Organization on Diversity and Inclusion.

About Inorbit Durgam Cheruvu Run 2024
After three successful editions, the Inorbit team is back with the 4th edition of the Inorbit Durgam Cheruvu Run (IDCR).
Running the #IDCR promises to be a satisfying and safe event. The race has been designed with several safety measures and is maintained without compromising on the thrill of a spectacular run.

Impact Summary for IDCR
1st Edition : 60 girl students were supported to continue their education by raising 6 Lakh Rupees.
2nd Edition : 200+ Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) were supported through life support aids, skilling by raising 30 Lakh Rupees.
3rd Edition : 400+ PwDs were supported last year through the provision of life support equipment, skilling and placements support, etc, by raising 54 Lakh Rupees
