Imagine a child sitting in a crumbling classroom with no proper desks, no digital learning tools, and a leaking roof during monsoons. For thousands of students in under-resourced government schools, this is their reality.
At Nirmaan, we believe where a child is born shouldn't determine the quality of education they receive. That's why we launched the School Transformation Program (STP), to turn struggling schools into centers of excellence.
Earlier, we had only a few restrooms in our school, so we had to stand in long queues every day. We also had limited classrooms, and though there were some lights, it was not enough. Now, every classroom has proper lighting and fans. Our school looks beautiful and colorful with new paintings and improved infrastructure. It feels like a better place to learn and grow.”
