Students Reached
In many government schools, children have hardly used a computer or seen how the internet works. Solving real-world problems through coding, like many others do today, feels like a faraway dream.
Through the Digital Labs & Coding Program, Nirmaan is bridging this gap by setting up fully equipped digital labs in government schools. We provide computer education, teach basic to advanced coding, and help students build their own mini projects.
Fully-equipped computer labs with desktops/laptops, internet access, UPS backup, and security infrastructure.
Structured digital literacy and coding curriculum aligned with national guidelines and local needs.
Deployment of digital facilitators or IT teachers to deliver hands-on detailed instruction and mentorship.
Students work on real-world mini projects to apply their learning in creative ways.
Participation in inter-school/state competitions, corporate visits, and Hackathon.
Evaluation of students’ progress through assessments, quizzes, and skill certifications.
“My father is a driver and my mother is a housewife. With limited income, affording a computer or internet at home was never possible for us. Earlier, our school had only 21 computers, and even getting time on one was difficult. But after this new STEM Lab was set up, we now have 41 computers and many upgraded features. This lab really helped me a lot, especially in preparing for my JEE Mains by allowing me to take mock tests. I also learned useful skills like MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint here. I’m very thankful to the Nirmaan Organization. This lab is helping us a lot in our academic journey and future goals.
