Community Service Day with St. Mary’s College
On 3rd August 2024, the Department of English and Languages at St. Mary’s College, Yousufguda, in collaboration with Nirmaan, observed Community Service Day with a heartwarming initiative. The department members generously donated trunks and essential stationery items to ten chosen KGBV girl students in the Community-Based Child Care Program (CBCP).
These children, many from single-parent households where the parent works as a daily wage laborer, face significant financial challenges. At Rainbow Home, we are committed to bridging this gap and ensuring these children have access to the essentials they need to thrive.
We are grateful for St. Mary’s College’s support in helping to fulfill these children’s needs and desires.
