From June 20th to 22nd, 2024, Acharya Nagarjuna University in Vijayawada buzzed with the spirit of sportsmanship as Nirmaan Organization partnered with HCLFoundation Foundation to host the Sports for Change South Zone Championship. This initiative aims to enhance access to sports for students from government schools.
With 150 young athletes from Telangana participating, the event featured competitions in kabaddi, kho-kho, volleyball, and athletics.
So far, 8000+ children and youth from various states of India have participated in 4 editions of National Level ‘Sports for Change’ competition, and 150 Sports Scholarships have been awarded across various categories to promote excellence in sports.
