The devastating floods in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have left a trail of destruction across several districts, with over 500,000 people affected and many displaced from their homes. The deluge has severely damaged infrastructure, homes, and livelihoods, and leaving communities in dire need of immediate support for shelter, food or even access to basic necessities. With the increased risk of waterborne diseases, the situation is growing more critical by the day.
We Need Your Help
At this critical time, we are launching an emergency relief response to mobilize resources and provide immediate relief and support to the people who have lost so much.

Our Goal: Immediate Relief and Long-Term Recovery
Phase 1: Relief Kits We are mobilizing our team on the ground to conduct a detailed assessment of requirements for different locations based on the flood impact. Based on the initial reports, we are working to deliver essential supplies, including relief and hygiene kits, medicines, first aid, baby food, and other essentials.
Each kit costs:
- ➡ Rs.1,500 for supporting 1 family for 15 days
- ➡ Rs. 3,000 for supporting 1 family for 30 days
Our target for Phase 1 is to raise Rs. 3 crore to fund the relief efforts.
Upon completion of Phase 1, we are committed to helping the families rebuild their lives and livelihoods through Back to Home Support (Phase 2) and Restoring Livelihoods (Phase 3). Phase 2 will focus on rehabilitation, with a goal of raising Rs. 7 crore for long-term recovery. We will share further details under Phase 2 and 3 after our detailed need assessments on the ground.
How You Can Help:

1. Individual Contribution:
You can contribute to supporting one or more families by making a donation. Donations to Nirmaan are tax-exempted under 80G in India and under 501(c)(3) in the USA. We urge you to make donations of Rs. 100 and more to cover the basic receipt and reporting expenses.
2. Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Fund:
We are calling on corporations to partner with us in our relief efforts through CSR Funds and Employee Engagement. By joining hands, we can amplify our impact and bring support and relief at a large scale in a transparent and accountable manner.
3. In-kind Donations:
You can contribute goods and services that can aid in relief efforts such as non-perishable food items, Clothing, Household Items (Utensils, Towels), OTC medical supplies. Our collection centers will be available in Hyderabad and Vizag. You can make a donation until September 30, from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday to Saturday (excluding public holidays).
