Nirmaan Organization

We have only one passion, The rise of a great Nation

Why?

  • Despite growing investment in education, 25% of its population is still illiterate
  • Only 15% of Indian students reach high school, Only 7% of Indian students graduate every year
  • Even after all these initiatives, it is possible to train only 5% of the population through the formal system.
  • One of the primary concerns in the field of education which needs to be addressed, is Universalization of Elementary Education—an objective which was established by the constitution, to be accomplished by 1960. But even after six decades of development planning, a considerable number of children are unable to achieve elementary education.
  • Even though Secondary level of education is not the ultimate stage in the education field, the dropout rate for classes (I-X) was as high as 62-64% for girls and 60% for boys. By quality education, we refer the following quote by Swami Vivekananda:
“We want that education by which Character is formed, Strength of mind is increased, Intellect is expanded and By which one can stand on his own feet.”

Present Scenario

  • Our primary focus is on students coming from economically backward families. We aim To provide such educational opportunities to the underprivileged, which helps them in their Character building, Nation building and Economic Empowerment.
  • In rural areas, the attendance in the Government Primary and Secondary schools is very low due to lack of awareness, ineffective implementation of Government policies and schemes
  • Students and youth do not have any access to information with respect to the opportunities available for social and economic upliftment of individual and family.
  • Students are faced with both financial and mental blocks to pursue higher education which stops them from progressing further.
  • Many kids of age less than 14 in cities and towns are made to work in hazardous and unhygienic conditions
  • Many crimes , atrocities and conflicts in society arise from a lack of a strong value based and educated society
