Incredible Opportunity to partner with PepsiCo at ZPHS Beeramguda to Distribute Back To School kits

On July 15, 2024, we had the incredible opportunity to partner with PepsiCo at ZPHS Beeramguda to distribute back-to-school kits and ensure students are well-prepared for the academic year. 100 PepsiCo volunteers also provided one-on-one career guidance to students, offering invaluable advice and support. As part of Vanamahotsavam, key leaders planted several saplings on the school grounds, contributing to a greener and healthier environment. This event not only equipped 200 students with essential supplies but also inspired them towards a brighter future while promoting environmental sustainability. Sumanasree, I am studying 9 th class Now I am very happy because previously I don’t know about computers but now, I am learning many things like Ms-office, HTML, CSS, python, and scratch. I am very interested in learning new things on the computer. Regularly I am attending computer class and lab practice and operate the system. I can never thank you enough." - P. Swetha, Government Medical College of Nalgonda (Gollaguda Hospital) Students of the CareerSaathi Scholarship Program got an opportunity to meet the senior leadership of PepsiCo at their office in Hyderabad. It was an interactive session for the girl students as they shared their stories and career aspirations with the leadership team, and they encouraged them to learn and pursue a career in STEM. The students gained new perspectives and experiences relating to PepsiCo's work environment and culture. We, at Nirmaan Organization are working with PepsiCo HBS on various community development programs in Telangana. PepsiCo HBS is supporting meritorious girl students to pursue their ambition of getting access to higher education and advancing their STEM careers with scholarships. They are making a wonderful effort to contribute toward achieving an equal future for all. We would like to thank the PepsiCo leadership team and volunteers for making the students' visit memorable and enjoyable.

Volunteering session on "Public Speaking Skills"

On 18-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Pepsi" has conducted a session on "Public Speaking Skills". 4 volunteers from "Pepsi" have imparted knowledge to 50 students from ZPHS Turkapally, GHS Madagurda, and KGBV Narayanpet. The session was very interactive and informative. The tips shared by volunteers on how to overcome stage fear which is a major hurdle in public speaking were very much useful to the students. Volunteering session on “ GBS Employees Especially Women and Girls in Our Communities.”

"If our hopes of building a better and safer world are to become more than wishful thinking, we will need the engagement of volunteers more than ever."-Kofi Anan As part of #GivingBack to the society, PepsiCo GBS provides its employees a unique opportunity to create an impact. Nirmaan Organization, as a partner to PepsiCo GBS organized #Volunteering sessions where PepsiCo GBS Employees undertake volunteering sessions to improve the lives of persons underprivileged backgrounds especially women and girls in our communities. In the last few months, PepsiCo GBS volunteers conducted various sessions on #Mentoring and #CareerCounseling, #SpokenEnglish, Workplace Readiness, #PersonalityDevelopment & interview skills. The beneficiaries included school students, youth and women from our skill training centers, with special focus on girl students. 60+ volunteers clocked in an impressive 75+Volunteering hours and touched lives of ~ 200 beneficiaries. The session was lauded by all attendees, who received valuable insights to help them in their day to day life and career growth. It was overall an enlightening and insightful experience! We at Nirmaan Organization, profusely thank all the PepsiCo GBS and the volunteers for making the sessions interactive, informative, and useful. We truly appreciate and recognize their valuable time and efforts for the Volunteering activity and look forward to collaborating on more events in the future. Our sincere gratitude to the entire PepsiCo GBS India leadership team and all employee volunteers for their support in making the volunteering drive a success. We appeal more Volunteers to join in the Nirmaan Volunteering Drive for a bigger impact on the society.

Established ICU ward in the Government Hospital, Shadnagar

Grateful to PepsiCo for the immense support and contribution towards COVID-19 relief and rehabilitation activities ! The ICU ward in the Government Hospital, Shadnagar will support the treatment of critical cases not only during COVID-19 but much beyond, leading to an overall upgradation of rural healthcare in the area. PepsiCo is committed towards supporting community healthcare and empowering communities with the resources they need to lead a healthier and better life. The PepsiCo Foundation and PepsiCo GBS India in partnership with the Nirmaan Organization, has opened a 10-bed intensive care unit in rural Telangana to support the medical infrastructure of Telangana, and help those communities get access to better healthcare during the pandemic and beyond. As a part of our community initiatives, we have focused our COVID-19 relief efforts towards organizing community vaccination drives, providing critical medical aid to hospitals, and supporting front-line warriors and families whose livelihoods have been affected by this crisis.
