An ICU facility in rural government hospitals is necessary, as this will help the patients save time and life. Launching this facility during COVID - 19 was a blessing as many patients in the rural areas were seriously in need of an ICU in their hospital. Experian GIC Hyderabad supported ICU ward facility at Community Health Centre, Kalwakurthy, in Telangana with Nirmaan Organization as implementation partner. August 2021 saw the launch of an ICU facility. It has served 392 patients who were treated for health issues like Covid 19, Postoperative critical cases, Asthma cases, etc.. patients as of July 2022. We like to thank Experian GIC Hyderabad for supporting Government Hospital with an ICU facility, which is serving needy people.

A wonderful session was conducted by Experian volunteer Ms. Shonali for GGIC students in Noida, NCR. The session was very informative and she has discussed various case studies to identify different parameters of health and stereotypes prevalent in the society. She also discussed ways to be healthy and ways to deal with stress. Students also asked their related queries from the volunteers which were subsequently answered. 48 students benefited from this session. Thank you so much to the Experian team for conducting such an interesting session.

The session was very informative and a number of beautiful insights and perspectives have discussed related to Career Guidance like importance of knowing personality, interests and skills before going for a career option, importance of doing research, sample participation and planning. She also discussed what one should not do while going for a career option like blindly following someone else. One should also keep learning as per new opportunities and demands. Students also asked their related queries from the volunteers which were subsequently answered.

Nirmaan Organization is grateful to partner with Experian to set up a 12-bed ICU ward at the Community Health Center in #Kalwakurthy, #Nagarkurnool district, Telangana. The Community Health Center caters to the medical needs of the town and nearby areas with the support of 10 doctors, 11 nurses, 2 anesthetists and other support staff. We thank the District Collector, Shri L. Sharman who supported us in identifying this hospital thus enabling us to provide a good medical facility for the local population. Dr. Ramesh Chandra, Hospital Superintendent has expressed his immense gratitude to Experian for the generous support that will help his staff and him to tackle more complex health concerns and provide better services to the people. The ICU ward is now operational and will continue to serve the economically disadvantaged, rural and tribal populations of Kalwakurthy and Nagarkurnool District beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. The 12-bed ICU ward is equipped with the following: - 10 units of ICU fowler beds (2 fold) - 2 units of ICU fowler beds (5 fold) - 2 units of ventilators - 5 units of Suction Apparatus - 5 units of Multi-Channel Monitors and Stands - 2 units of Infusion Pumps and Stands - 3 units of Stainless Steel Silver Crash Cart - 25 units of Oxygen D-Type Cylinders - 1 unit of Defibrillator - Support for setting up Oxygen Flowline, electrical works and ACs in the ICU ward We profusely thank the donors for their generous contribution !
