Set Up a 12-bed ICU Ward at the Community Health Center in Kalwakurthy

Nirmaan Organization is grateful to partner with Experian to set up a 12-bed ICU ward at the Community Health Center in #Kalwakurthy, #Nagarkurnool district, Telangana. The Community Health Center caters to the medical needs of the town and nearby areas with the support of 10 doctors, 11 nurses, 2 anesthetists and other support staff. We thank the District Collector, Shri L. Sharman who supported us in identifying this hospital thus enabling us to provide a good medical facility for the local population. Dr. Ramesh Chandra, Hospital Superintendent has expressed his immense gratitude to Experian for the generous support that will help his staff and him to tackle more complex health concerns and provide better services to the people. The ICU ward is now operational and will continue to serve the economically disadvantaged, rural and tribal populations of Kalwakurthy and Nagarkurnool District beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. The 12-bed ICU ward is equipped with the following: - 10 units of ICU fowler beds (2 fold) - 2 units of ICU fowler beds (5 fold) - 2 units of ventilators - 5 units of Suction Apparatus - 5 units of Multi-Channel Monitors and Stands - 2 units of Infusion Pumps and Stands - 3 units of Stainless Steel Silver Crash Cart - 25 units of Oxygen D-Type Cylinders - 1 unit of Defibrillator - Support for setting up Oxygen Flowline, electrical works and ACs in the ICU ward We profusely thank the donors for their generous contribution ! Established 12 ICU beds in Tadepalligudem

At the very onset of #COVID-19 wave II, S&P GLOBAL FOUNDATION came forward to support the local communities in critical need of resources. The Foundation committed USD $1.8M in grants to directly support India relief efforts, including to Nirmaan Organization. These funds were provided to support the efforts to strengthen #ruralhealthcare centers and #emergencyresponse, as well as distribute critically needed oxygen supplies across India. We are grateful to S&P Global Foundation for this timely support through which we were able to support #frontlineworkers and COVID-affected families across #Telangana and #AndhraPradesh (AP). Today, I’m sharing about the support to the Area Hospital, Tadepalligudem, West Godavari district in AP. Through this project, we established 12 ICU beds along with Multi-para Monitors, Suction Apparatus, Ventilators, Crash Carts, Oxygen Cylinders etc. The ward will serve the people of West Godavari district not just during the pandemic, but beyond. Heartfelt thanks to the Hospital Superintendent and his medical staff who provided support at every step of the way. The ICU ward is operational and will continue to serve the economically disadvantaged, rural populations of West Godavari district beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. Established 12-bed-ICU facility at Government District Hospital, Karimnagar.

We are grateful to share that through the generous contribution of Laurus Labs Limited, we have established a 12-bed-ICU facility at Government District Hospital, #Karimnagar. The facility was inaugurated by SITA RAMAIAH ( VASU) CH along with the hospital Superintendent on 30th Nov, 2021. Gopi Vudaru, Nirmaan Director, represented the Nirmaan Organization team at the event. This is significant in the light of the new COVID-19 wave hitting India, and will aid the hospital to provide better patient care and treatment, even beyond COVID-19. Donation of Masks and Sanitizers to Anganwadi Workers Hyderabad

We thank Coca-Cola Foundation and United Way Mumbai for their generous support!! Nirmaan Organization, as part of its Operation Sahaaya, is implementing various projects to support the frontline public service personnel in this fight against Covid 19 pandemic. Today, Nirmaan, in collaboration with the Coca-Cola Foundation and United Way of Mumbai, has donated 10,500 masks and 14,000 sanitizers to 3,500 Anganwadi workers working in Telangana. Smt. Satyavathi Rathod, Minister, Women and Child Welfare and Tribal Welfare, was the Chief Guest for the donation event at the Women and Child Welfare Commissionerate today. Smt. Divya Devarajan IAS, Secretary and Commissioner of Women and Child Welfare, Mr. Mayur Patnala Founder and CEO Nirmaan Organization also participated in distribution of the items to the workers.

In light of the resurgence of COVID-19 cases including the new variant, we are humbled to shared that through the unflinching support of Crypto Relief and its team Punit Agarwal, Dr Gaurav Singh, Naga Karthik, Akram Memon and Vivek Pawar, we have established 120 ICU beds across 10 #GovernmentHospitals in #AndhraPradesh, upgrading the public healthcare facilities for rural and tribal populations. Launched Of ICU Program At Vanasthalipuram

Hon'ble Health Minister of Telangana State, Sri T. Harish Rao launched our ICU program at #Vanasthalipuram Govt hospital in Telangana on 24th Dec 2021. Our gratitude to our donor leadership GV Girish Gelli Varun Surekha (Entrepreneurs' Organization, Hyderabad) and Sri Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat IPS (Sir has guided us for State wide program) and Sri Amoy Kumar IAS, Ranga Reddy District Collector & Magistrate. This ICU ward would support the hospital team to provide better care and treatment to patients from underprivileged backgrounds in and around Vanasthalipuram, not just during COVID-19 pandemic but beyond.

Disruptive Digital Intervention (DDI) Lab at Ashram High School

Synchrony in partnership with Hyderabad Software Enterprises Association and Nirmaan Organization, has come forward to set up a Disruptive Digital Intervention (DDI) Lab at Ashram High School Gangaram(Girls), Mahabubabad District, Telangana. The DDI Lab was inaugurated on 11th of March 2022 at AHS Gangaram, Mahabubabad virtually inaugurated by the Synchrony Leadership as the Chief Guest – Sri. Ramesh Menon, SVP, Finance – Asia CFO and Smt. Kameswari Gangadharabhatla (she/her/hers), VP, HR - Asia Diversity & Recruitment COE Leader, in the presence of Sri. R Srinivas Rao (RSR), COO, HYSEA, Sri. Dr. D. Dilip Kumar, DTDO, Mahabubabad and Sri. Mayur Patnala, Founder and CEO, Nirmaan Organization. We thank the Synchrony Leadership, HYSEA and team who have supported this program to help the girl students to enhance their computer and future ready skills. Adopted govt schools in the villages of Choutkur and Shivampet

Nirmaan.org with the support of Carrier as part of their CSR initiative @ Hyderabad, adopted two more govt schools in 2021, in the villages of Choutkur and Shivampet, located about 45 miles from Hyderabad. It was exciting to see the transformation of these schools that were old and lacked basic amenities, into a learning environment with proper drinking water, toilets, dual desk, good classrooms with fans, lights, science labs, etc.This initiative has benefitted ~2000 students so far, also resulting in an increase in enrollment to the schools by 10%, with a very positive response from the schools!

F5 Networks Contribution Towards Women Empowerment

Volunteering Session on “ COVID Pandemic”

COVID has been hard on many communities, especially those in remote rural and tribal locations. Mr. Naitham Sudhakar, a Thotti, lost his job during the COVID pandemic, and along with it, his family of 4 lost their home. Though he managed to get a part-time work as a daily wage labourer and his wife as a cook, the income wasn't sufficient to provide proper shelter for the family. We got connected to Sudhakar through Divya Devarajan Ma'am, the then Collector of #Adilabad. And through the generous support of Telugu Association of North America (TANA), we were able to support Sudhakar with the construction of his house and fulfil one of the most basic needs. Sudhakar and his family have now moved into the new house and are very happy and grateful to TANA. He shared “I am now living a respectable life with my family, without worrying too much about the shelter. Now, I need to find livelihood support to help my family. My family and I are very thankful to TANA and Divya Ma'am for supporting me.”
