Empowering Women, One Session at a Time: A Transformative April with HSBC Volunteers

What an impactful month April was! With the support of HSBC Software Development India, over 310 women were empowered through learning and confidence-building activities at the Nirmaan Women Empowerment Vocational Training Center in Rajiv Gandhi Nagar, Bibwewadi Upper, Pune.

Throughout April 2025, HSBC volunteers conducted a series of meaningful sessions: * Goal-setting workshop to help women learn how to set clear, achievable goals for their future
* Yoga & health awareness session to promote physical and mental well-being
* Communication workshop to boost confidence in speaking, expressing ideas, and presenting themselves
* Gullak (piggy bank) painting activity , where 140 volunteers painted 135 piggy banks to encourage the habit of saving among children
* Financial literacy session to teach the importance of saving, budgeting, and financial planning

With 154 volunteers contributing over 1,000+ hours of their time, the entire effort was truly inspiring.
