Illuminating Futures: Synchrony Volunteers Assemble Solar Lamps for Young Learners

Imagine a young learner, restricted by unreliable electricity, gaining the ability to study each evening through the light of a single solar lamp.

Motivated by this purpose, over 35 Synchrony volunteers came together to assemble solar lamps for 35 students from underserved urban communities.

Synchrony, in collaboration with Nirmaan.org, hosted a Solar Lamp hashtag#Volunteering Activity at its Hyderabad office on November 11, 2025. Adding to the spirit of global unity, our colleagues from the hashtag#Philippines also joined enthusiastically, making this initiative even more meaningful.

This collective effort reflects Synchrony’s enduring commitment to advancing sustainable, equitable, and education-focused community development.

These solar lamps will soon reach students who often struggle with limited access to electricity, ensuring that the absence of light never dims their dreams. With these lamps, children can study without interruption, stay motivated, and continue their learning journeys with confidence.
