We’re proud to have hosted a pivotal meeting titled Transforming the Rural and Tribal Landscape: Collaborative Action through Government, CSR, and Non-Profits on October 27th at Pragathi Bhavan, Telangana. The meeting was presided over by Dr. D. Anasuya Seethakka, Hon’ble Minister for Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, Women & Child Welfare, Persons with Disabilities & LGBTQ+, Government of Telangana. Key government officials, including Smt. Divya Devarajan, IAS, CEO of the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), Shri Divakar T S, IAS, Collector of Mulugu, and Smt Rajarshi Shah, IAS, Collector of Adilabad and Shri. Vedma Bhojju, MLA from Khanapur, joined us along with our 26 corporate partners.
Our report on rural and tribal development initiatives in Telangana was well-received, highlighting the progress achieved through collaborative efforts. Dr. Seethakka urged the corporate partners with a compelling call to action, encouraging them to enhance their CSR investments in rural and tribal areas to fuel impactful, sustainable growth.
Smt. Divya Devarajan shared valuable insights on expanding women’s development opportunities through CSR contributions, while Collectors Divakara and Rajarshi addressed both the challenges and innovative solutions needed to foster sustainable growth across Telangana’s rural regions. Shri Vedma Bhojju, MLA from Khanapur, also emphasized the need for corporate support in Adilabad district’s rural and tribal development.
