Introduction

• Teaching market-oriented skills to women from underprivileged and economically weaker sections

• Handholding them in generating livelihoods out of the skills learnt through support in preparation for jobs and placement

• Conducting life-skills workshops to improve their communication skills and work readiness

Program Description

• Need Assessment : Before initiation of the project, Nirmaan will conduct a detailed need assessment and area mapping in and around the target location, and this data will form the baseline for the short-term and long-term project planning.
• Personalized Job Counseling : Dedicated and trained counselors will provide job to youth who come to the center and direct them to further skilling or placement depending on their current capability and requirements.
• Skill development : In this Skills Center will conduct courses in ITES-BPO and Office Administration along with foundation courses in English, workplace readiness. The youth will also gain from an exposure to on-the-job training (OJT). Nirmaan believes in getting youth future ready and will be exploring the emerging fields in IT industry.
• Placements Support : Nirmaan will support youth in getting placed in relevant job roles through various activities like networking with potential employers, resume building exercises, job fair, mock interviews etc.

• Gender: Only women

• Age: 18-27 Years

• BENEFICIARY BACKGROUND: The women are from underprivileged communities who have completed B.Tech/ M.Tech, BCA, MCA, and B.SC as it is hybrid mode women are attending from other states as well.
