India has been in the grip of a devastating second wave of the Corona virus since March 2021, with several cities in lockdowns. The situation called for an urgent intervention to support our overwhelmed Public Health Care system.
EPAM Systems did just that ! EPAM Systems, along with Nirmaan Organization as their NGO partner, chalked out a comprehensive plan to support the critical requirements of Government Hospitals across the 3 cities of Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Pune.
With the support from EPAM Systems, in Pune, we have donated critical medical equipment and supplies to the Sassoon General Hospital, Pune including 5 Suction Machines, 104 Pulse Oxymeters, 500 Oxygen Masks with Reservoir Bag, 1275 N95 Masks, 600 Surgical gloves, 2 three-Channel ECG Machine, 300 PPE Kits with N95 Mask.
The distribution event was held on 24th June where Dr. M.P Tambe, Hon’ble Dean and Dr. A.A.Taware, Medical Superintendent of the Sassoon General Hospital expressed their gratitude to EPAM and the Nirmaan for the timely support.
