We’re excited to share the impact of Project Sankalp, supported by AMD. This initiative is helping 1,600 beneficiaries, including persons with disabilities and unemployed youth, by providing skills training and connecting them to employment opportunities. On November 27th, AMD hosted a special mentorship session for 50 beneficiaries from our Project Sankalp in their Bengaluru office. The day was filled with inspiration as 50 AMD associates dedicated their time and expertise to mentor participants in resume building, interview readiness, and overall job preparedness. This interaction boosted the confidence of our beneficiaries and provided them with invaluable guidance to navigate their career journeys. We thank AMD for fostering a culture of inclusion and empowerment, and to the mentors for their wholehearted support in shaping brighter futures!

On 27th November, 140 AMD volunteers in Hyderabad came together to pack and organize relief supplies for families and students impacted by the recent floods in Telangana. Through this initiative, 1,000 long-term grocery kits were assembled to support affected families, and 1,000 back-to-school kits were prepared to ensure students can continue their education without interruption. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to AMD for their unwavering support and commitment to the community. This initiative not only provides immediate relief but also fosters hope and resilience in the face of adversity.

We’re happy to share the success of our Internal Training of Trainers (TOT) session held on November 26, 2024, at the Rotary Learning Center, Siddique Nagar, Hyderabad. This session was conducted for our dedicated tailoring trainers and directly impacted 12 underprivileged women beneficiaries, equipping them with skills for a brighter future. Event Highlights: Participation: 20 trainers actively engaged in this session. Skill Enhancement : All the trainers were introduced to advanced machinery and trained in the latest trending blouse designs. The hands-on experience was both engaging and empowering, adding valuable skills to their repertoire. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Nirmaan’s senior leadership: Mrs. Anuradha Pulla, Mrs. Lathakumari Chidagala, Mrs. Swapna Bompally, Mr. @Srinivas Palemoni, and Mrs. Himasree Raghumudri, for their support and guidance in making this session a resounding success. This initiative is a step towards enhancing the skill sets of our trainers, empowering them to deliver even better training to our beneficiaries.

From 23rd to 25th November 2024, we successfully organized a transformative 3-day residential camp at DON BOSCO School, Hyderabad, for 121 students pursuing their Intermediate 1st year from colleges across Hyderabad. The camp was inaugurated by Ch. Ram Srinivas, Chief Officer of Nirmaan's Vidya Help Line, setting the tone for three days of interactive and impactful sessions. Highlights of the Camp: Skill-Building Sessions: Focused on Intermediate subjects like Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Botany, alongside soft skills, communication workshops, and motivational talks. STEM Model Preparation: Students collaborated to design and build innovative working models using STEM concepts, fostering teamwork, creativity, and practical problem-solving. This hands-on initiative bridged the gap between theory and practice, sparking curiosity and inspiring students to explore careers in STEM fields with confidence and enthusiasm. A special thanks to the four mentors from Qualcomm and their leadership for their support and guidance in making this camp an unforgettable learning experience for the students.

On November 21, 2024, Nirmaan Organization proudly hosted the Investiture Ceremony at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS Pilani), Rajasthan, officially welcoming Nirmaan's newest student chapter. This momentous occasion officially inducted a dynamic leadership team of 17 student leaders, led by Akshar Pandey, as they took on their roles and responsibilities for the chapter. The event was an inspiring opportunity to encourage collaboration among members and focus on achieving the chapter's collective goals. The highlights included: - 350+ aspiring students participated from various colleges, including MGU. - 100+ candidates secured placements in diverse industries. - 30+ top companies partnered with us. The dedicated team from our Youth Employment Program Center, LB Nagar, played a pivotal role in the event’s success by guiding students through resume building, interview preparation, and career counseling.

On Children’s Day, November 14th, the CapitaLand India Business Parks Finance Team and Hyderabad Operations Team, led by Ananth Nayak, Head of Finance, Capitaland Investment India, volunteered at Zilla Parishad High School (ZPHS), Manikonda. On November 9, 2024, Ujaas, an initiative by Aditya Birla Group, with Nirmaan Organization as the executive partner, successfully conducted a Menstrual Hygiene Program at SRD Homes, Begum Bazar, Hyderabad, impacting 150 orphans. Led by DR APARNA MARAMREDDY, Head of Nirmaan's Mental Health Initiative, the session provided valuable insights on the biological aspects of menstruation, the importance of hygiene practices, and safe, affordable menstrual products. We also distributed 150 menstrual kits, ensuring these individuals have the resources to manage their health confidently.
