January 23, 2026
We have officially launched the AI Learning Centre: Access to Impact in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, on 23 January, 2026.
Launched by the Redington Foundation in partnership with Microsoft and Nirmaan Organization, and aligned with national initiatives led by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), this initiative marks a pivotal milestone in our mission to bring high-end AI training to the grassroots of the state.
Over the next year, 5000 students, graduates, and professionals will receive 150+ hours of training in #GenAI, #Python, and #MachineLearning. Additionally, 500 #MSMEs will benefit from strategic AI integration to help small businesses scale and compete in the digital age.
Through a Hub-and-Spoke model, we are establishing Centres of Excellence (CoEs) that act as innovation engines, reaching deep into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
This launch is part of the pre-events leading up to the India - AI Impact Summit 2026, a global gathering focused on inclusive and impactful AI, to be held in New Delhi on February 19 and 20, 2026.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Venkatesh Rajeswaran, Global Chief Sustainability Officer, Redington Group; HEMANT LOHIYA, CSR Head, Redington Foundation; and Manikandan Rengarajan, Project Head, Redington Foundation. Their leadership and continued support are instrumental in strengthening employability and advancing digital entrepreneurship across India’s AI Skilling & MSME ecosystem.
