State Street and Nirmaan Launch Skill Development Center for Women in Bangalore, Empowering 2400 Women Across India

We are immensely grateful to our partner State Street for the successful inauguration of the Skill Development Center for women in Ambalipura, Bellandur, Bangalore, on October 8, 2024, executed by Nirmaan Organization. This is the first center among the 6 centers planned across India where there is State Street’s presence (Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai., Pune, Chennai & Coimbatore). This center is dedicated to empowering underprivileged women with vital skills for today’s job market, focusing on areas like technology and women’s entrepreneurship and preparing the students for upcoming jobs. Through these skill development centers around 2400 women will be trained and will be job ready to take up new roles across corporates and companies. It was an honor to have Joan Christel, President of State Street Foundation, along with Meenu Bhambhani, Vice President of State Street, Harish Kumar Sirapu, Aarti Swami PMP®, CLSSGB, Hima Muttavarapu, PMP Corporate Citizenship Council leads, and Mayur Patnala (India/Bharat), Founder and Global CEO of Nirmaan Organization, join us for this special occasion. With the support of the center team and 30 enthusiastic beneficiaries, this event represents a significant step toward brighter futures for all involved. We're excited to see the impact this center will have!

Our Exclusive Handmade Products from the ‘@Hope In A Cup’ and ‘SWASHA’ initiatives.

On June 6, 2024, our LGBTQ+ community had the privilege of showcasing their talents and contributing to an inclusive society by conducting stalls full of our exclusive handmade products from the '@Hope In A Cup' and 'SWASHA' initiatives. All this was made possible when our corporate leaders like State Street Services India Private Limited, who stepped up to create opportunities for the LGBTQ+ community, allowing them to showcase their talents and foster a more inclusive society than ever. We are always grateful to Statestreet leadership for the mesmerizing work they do to create a larger impact for underserved communities. A big shoutout to all the wonderful volunteers who expressed their interest and purchased products from these stalls. Special thanks to Sailaja Maganti and Harish Kumar Sirapu for enabling this activity with Nirmaan.

A Graduation Ceremony was held for Women in Tech Beneficiaries Partnership with State Street

April 20, 2024

On April 20, 2024, a graduation ceremony was conducted for Women in Tech beneficiaries in Budhera, Sangareddy, in collaboration with State Street. We were honored to have esteemed leaders from State Street, including Kalyan Thota, Sailaja Maganti, Tanveer F Sajanlal (She/Her), Harish Kumar Sirapu, Rupali Agarwal, and Neetu Chadda, who encouraged all the graduates and shared their priceless experiences regarding their first employment. Graduation certificates were distributed to all 205 beneficiaries. The cultural dance performance by the students mesmerized everyone gathered there. The students also shared their training and first placement experiences. Wishing them all the best in their future endeavours. Special thanks to all 13 volunteers of State Street for their invaluable contributions. We extend our deepest gratitude to State Street for their support and collaborative efforts in making this graduation ceremony a success.

Our State Street CSR India team along with senior leadership team Ann Fogarty, Arindam Banerrji, Nishad Pawar, Raj VS, Benjamin Langis collabrated with Nirmaan Organization for an engaging Wall painting session with the students @Bhaujan Hitay Girls Student Hostel, Pune With each wall mural we collectively commit to adding colors to the lives of the young minds and we are dedicated to a brighter tomorrow.

State Street CSP initiative with Nirmaan

As part of the State Street CSP initiative, State Street Hyderabad have joined hands with Nirmaan to invite girls from State Home to their office in Gachibowli. This interaction had been a great source of inspiration for the girls who are getting ready to put their first steps in to corporate world. Leaders have come forward to share their personal experiences with these girls giving them tips on how to prepare their CVs, how to prepare for interviews, how to network and the list just goes on….. It was an excellent session leaving a positive impact on the minds of these young kids. We would like to extend our gratitude to all the team members from State Street for giving these girls an opportunity to visit their office, providing campus tour of Knowledge city, clicking some wonderful pics and inspiring these girls.
