To contribute to developing rural communities in Telangana and bridging the gap between rural and urban areas,
OpenText India
has adopted four remote tribal villages including LB Nagar, Jaggannapeta, Chandru Thanda, and Kodishalakunta in
#Mulugu
District, Telangana. The groundbreaking ceremony for LB Nagar, Jaggannapeta was inaugurated by the Honorable Minister
Dr. D. Anasuya Seethakka on January 20, 2025.
As part of Nirmaan’s One Corporate - One Village initiative, this will directly benefit over 2,350 residents in these two villages,
focusing on key development projects such as the construction of Anganwadi centers, water tanks, and borewells, installation of
solar lighting systems, distribution of bicycles to students, school repairs, health camps, and more.
The program's launch was graced by Telangana Minister
Sangeetha Yanamandra,
Vice President, Engineering and Site Leader for OpenText Hyderabad, and
Mayur Patnala Kankanala (India/Bharat),
Founder and Global CEO of Nirmaan Organization. Senior leadership from OpenText and Nirmaan, along with key government representatives,
were also present at the event.

We are delighted to announce that our distinguished donor OpenText, in partnership with Nirmaan Organization, has launched today, the first-ever Café, 'Hope In A Cup' which is truly inclusive. The cafe would be run by our LGBTQIA+ individuals at OpenText's Hyderabad office, today. This initiative marks a significant milestone. OpenText is likely the first company in India to open a truly inclusive cafe, fully managed by LGBTQIA+ individuals, inside its office campus, and operating on a 100% sustainable model. In line with our commitment to celebrating Pride Month beyond June, this is not only our third 'Hope In A Cup' cafe franchise but also the first franchise being operated in "Truly inclusive " environment in Hyderabad, showing our dedication to empowering LGBTQIA+ communities. At Nirmaan Organization, we are strongly committed to initiating this unique initiative across India soon, creating an inclusive society for everyone.
