Empowering Students: Digital Safety and Communication Skills Session by Micron & Nirmaan

 November 5, 2024

On November 5, 2024, Micron volunteers joined hands with Nirmaan Organization to conduct a transformative session on “Being Safe in the Digital Age & Interpersonal Communication Skills” at Golconda Girls High School (GGHS). With 50 passionate volunteers in action, 200+ students gained essential knowledge on staying safe online and learned valuable interpersonal skills to enhance communication in today’s digital world. The event focused on educating students about safe digital practices, emphasizing responsible online behavior, and strengthening their interpersonal communication abilities. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Micron for their commitment to empowering students and to the incredible volunteers who made a lasting impact.

Inauguration of ‘One Micron: One Aquila’ Facility: Advancing STEM and Digital Literacy

This milestone highlights our shared commitment to advancing semiconductor innovation and empowering young minds. Nirmaan is proud to collaborate in expanding STEM education and digital literacy through initiatives like the establishment of Digital Labs in KGBVs across Telangana. Thank you Antara Lahiri, Vyshali Sagar, Scott DeBoer, Anand Ramamoorthy and Moira Dawa. Together, we are making a significant impact on the future of education and technology.

Code Festa Computation at ZPHS Ganesh Nagar, Supported by Micron

Nirmaan has successfully completed the computation called Code Festa at ZPHS Ganesh nagar, supported by Micron. This is a three-level project where we teach computer skills at the school level, state level, and national level. 200+ documents like invitations, calendars, and attendance sheets with mathematical formulas like average, percentage, status, students results...etc were created by the students. The school principal expresses his gratitude to Micron and Nirmaan for their generous contribution.

New digital Lab was Inaugurated by Micron at ZPHS Nizampet.

 December 18, 2022

This is a most beautiful week for the students of ZPHS Nizampet because a new digital lab was inaugurated by the Micron Donor with the support of the Nirmaan organization. The students feel very excited because they have a computer lab in their school and are excited to learn the computer. The lab inauguration was started by lightning the lamp and ribbon cutting by Micron donor head Bhavana Sethi & other micron volunteers and the Nirmaan team with the school Headmaster, teachers & students also participated in the event. The micron volunteers spend their quality time with the students by conducting a small quiz competition and they distributing prizes for winners. The students also enjoyed a lot by spending time with MICRON volunteers. The kind-hearted micron team planned to give more support to the school accordingly they communicated with the school HM for requirements in school and for children. Principals expressing their feeling on behalf of teachers we are feeling very happy for installing a digital lab. Finally thank you to MICRON & NIRMAAN and we are excepting more help in future.

Volunteering session on “Computer Basics, Notepad and MS office” ZPHS Ganesh nagar

 May 17, 2022

On 17-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "Micron" has conducted a summer camp on "Computer Basics, Notepad and MS office". 15 volunteers from "Micron" have imparted knowledge to the students of ZPHS Ganesh nagar. The volunteers also conducted a quiz competition and distributed gifts to the top 10 students who actively participated in the quiz. We from Nirmaan organization express our sincere gratitude to the volunteers and the partner for the valuable time and knowledge.
