Excited to Announce that We’ve Won the CSR SMX Awards and Summit 4.0 as Best Impact Award

We are beyond excited to announce that we've won the CSR SMX Awards and Summit 4.0 as Best Impact Award for our transformative EKIDS and Digital Literacy Programs, supported by EPAM Systems on June 21, 2024. Through the e-Kids Digital Lab program, we've downright impacted over 5,300 underprivileged students in classes 6 to 9, ages 9 to 14, across Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Pune, and NCR. With EPAM’s unending support, we're bridging the educational gap and making a real difference in their educational journey. A huge thanks to EPAM Systems for their incredible support and for bringing hope to so many underprivileged children. Together, we can continue to turn the dreams of more underprivileged children into reality. We would extend a hearty congratulations to the leadership of John Mota for proactively being part of the project from its inception.

My name is Vibha. I am studying 9th (E) standards. I live in Kadipur.Thanks to EPAM and Nirmaan Organization for providing a computer lab in my school. Before I joined this school, I don’t have any computer knowledge, but now I have improved my skills in MS word and Powerpoint Brajit Sir has helped us a lot related to PowerPoint How can you insert a video and image into PowerPoint What do you understand by a placeholder How to make the presentation attractive What do you understand by slide view How to add a bookmark to a PowerPoint video Who to add the slide PowerPoint, saving, inserting, replacing a word, checking grammatical errors, formatting and editing texts, inserting and customizing an object. How to take help from help features in PowerPoint. Thank you so much EPAM and normal organization for the computer lab in my school. I am completed my practical project work in the lab. We have got a lot of help in preparing ppt for the board exam. We completed all our projects on time with the help of the computer.

EPAM Systems with Nirmaan inaugurated e-Kids Digital Lab at Government High School Arikkambedu, Chennai

On 17th December 2022, EPAM Systems in partnership with Nirmaan Organization inaugurated the e-Kids Digital Lab at Government High School Arikkambedu, Chennai. For the inaugural ceremony, Mr. Vijaykumar KN, Principal, Technology solutions, EPAM India, Mr. John Mota, CSR Lead, EPAM Systems India, Mr. Ushakar Keerthi, Senior Manager, Nirmaan Organization, Mr. Shiva Kumar, High School Headmaster, all the Teachers, Students, SMC Members, Parents, EPAM #Volunteers and Nirmaan Organization Team members participated. Through the E-Kids program, EPAM has set up a fully functional computer lab with a full-time dedicated computer teacher to provide access to high quality computing education for 400+ students in GHS Arikkambedu, Chennai. An advantage of having computer-assisted instruction in the classroom is that the computers can serve as a tutor & the teachers can aid students in the learning process to maximize learning outcomes. Students will now have the opportunity to learn relevant digital skills needed to thrive in a digital world. The volunteers from EPAM played volleyball and throw ball games along with the students. The school management is very grateful for the support extended by EPAM Systems through the Digital lab under E-Kids program. Empowering Girls with the collaboration of EPAM and Nirmaan

“We cannot all succeed when half of us are held back” -----Malala Yousafzai On the occasion of #InternationalDayForTheGirlChild, we are happy to recognize & reiterate our commitment to achieving #GenderEquality through education. EPAM in partnership with Nirmaan, has been providing access to high quality computing education for children across India through #EPAMeKidsProgram. Over the last three-years, 8,550+ high school students from underrepresented communities have spent 12,800+ hours in learning about computers & coding – out of which, 48% are girls! “..I am feeling very happy to learn computers. I learnt scratch programming advanced level with the help of Anjali madam from EPAM. I also learned MS office tools like Word, Excel, PowerPoint Presentation and I participated in a Human Design thinking session. I am very thankful to Nirmaan and EPAM for giving me a good opportunity to learn..” said Akshaya, participant of eKids program. Empowering women and girls and promoting gender equality is crucial to accelerating sustainable development.

Volunteering Session on “Pathway To Tech Feature” From EPAM

Today a wonderful session was conducted by EPAM volunteers in GSSS Kadipur students in NCR one-on-one mentoring session. The session was very informative. A no. Beautiful insights and perspectives are discussed today related to the best Pathway to tech feature like Coding introduction HTML Python and also explain basics of coding and give the task for the student .Live explain the coding work in coding in the system and write the code. Students also asked their related queries from the volunteers which were subsequently answered. Self-paced "Pathway to Tech Future" course which will provide comprehensive information about History of IT, Professions in IT and Trends & Evolutions in IT before conducting mentoring sessions with students. One-on-one mentoring session(s) or small group meetings between EPAM Experts (Mentors) and high school students (Mentees) Thank you so much to EPAM team for such an amazing session

Volunteering Session on “Ignite to grow Session ” From EPAM

Today wonderful sessions were conducted in GSSS Kadipur Gurgaon, NCR by EPAM Volunteers on ignite to grow sessions. Volunteers physically visited the GSSS Kadipur and interacted with the students there. Regarding this session, the volunteers highlighted how setting up goals is essential in our life. They described computer Software,how to used, how to work and implement in the software goals one can choose as per his/her interest. Students were also enlightened with the virtues needed to achieve one’s goals. Students also asked various questions to the volunteers. Today, it was the session. Volunteers gave their feedback that they are very happy with the response of students throughout the sessions and would like to conduct more such sessions. Path To Tech Future project "Women and Child Welfare Department (WCWD) by EPAM

‘Books are the means by which we build bridges between cultures’ —-- Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan A dream came true for the girls who are studying under the Path To Tech Future project "Women and Child Welfare Department (WCWD)". They are diploma final year students, who visited EPAM campus to interact with the senior leadership and have an office tour. It was a three-hour tour with 12 volunteers from EMAP who participated in this event. At the end of the program to encourage the students, EPAM presented a college bag to each of our students. We thank EPAM and its leadership team who allowed our students to visit their campus in Hyderabad. EPAM Volunteers Completed Educational Wall Painting in GSSS Kadipur School, Gurugram

EPAM volunteers completed educational wall painting in GSSS Kadipur school, Gurugram. Ten volunteers from EPAM participated in the mass volunteering activity. Students and teachers also participated with all enthusiasm. The school building was painted with a number of beautiful paintings related to the environment, cleanliness, girls education, women empowerment, education, art and culture, etc. Post completion, honorable School Principal addressed all volunteers who also showed interest to further participate in any such activity. The Headmaster also showed lot of enthusiasm to welcome such activities in the future as they believe that Educating the society is a collective responsibility and can only be achieved through cooperation. He thanked all EPAM and Nirmaan volunteers for their time and support. The volunteers too, shared their valuable feedback in conducting these type of activities which marked the end for this session.

Educational Wall Painting at GHS Nallakunta School , Hyderabad.

On 28-May-2022, Nirmaan's corporate partner "EPAM" has contributed in "Educational Wall Painting" for GHS Nallakunta school, Hyderabad. 62 volunteers from "EPAM" have participated in this activity along with their families from 9.30 AM to 11.30 AM. The Headmaster and the school staff were happy with the beuatification and appreciated the contribution of the volunteers.
