HSBC Software Development India Inaugurates Women In Tech (WIT) Skill Center in Bengaluru

Marking a significant milestone in our ongoing commitment to empower women with skills and enhance their employability, HSBC Software Development India successfully inaugurated the Women In Tech (WIT) Skill Center at Bommanahalli, Bengaluru, on January 17, 2025. As an enabling partner for this skill center, the project will provide skilling training to 370 women in two years and provide placement opportunities to 260 women. Key leadership from HSBC - Bidisha Dutta, Pradeep Venkata Subramaniam, Poornimadevi P, Deepika Sandeep, along with delegates from the government, Mr. Nanjundaiah KM, Superintendent of the Social Welfare Department, Nirmaan's Board of Director Vineet Saxena, Global Head of Fraud and Credit Control Services; and Mayur Patnala Kankanala (India/Bharat), Founder and Global CEO of Nirmaan.org, attended the ceremony. Following the inauguration, we held insightful sessions for the students, including course completion certificate distribution and engaging talks with industry experts. We extend our sincere thanks to HSBC and its leadership for this significant step in establishing a skill center to empower youth with skills and employability.

Infosys Foundation Launches Youth Employment Program Center in Warangal, Telangana

We are excited to share that our CSR partner, Infosys Foundation, hosted the soft launch of the Youth Employment Program Center in Warangal, Telangana on January 11, 2025. Enabled by nirmaan.org, the center has been operational since November 2024 and has achieved notable success by placing 56 individuals in various companies. Currently, 50 students are undergoing specialized training in ITeS and Full-Stack Java, equipping them with essential skills for promising career opportunities.

The event was graced by distinguished guests Mayur Patnala Kankanala (India/Bharat), founder and global CEO of Nirmaan, along with Nirmaan's senior leadership team, Venkat S K Tankasala and Anuradha Pulla; Renuka Devi, Warangal DRDA Officer; Krishna from Criscorp HR and CSR volunteers from Infosys Hyderabad DC, Mamata Trust.

Bosch Spreads Warmth: 275 Blankets Donated to Rasoolpura Residents

The New Year brought cheer to some underprivileged. In celebration of Bosch's Annual Day, a charity lottery contest was held by their employees, in collaboration with Nirmaan. On January 8, 2025, the generous sum enabled Bosch to sponsor 275 warm blankets to residents (labourers, daily wage workers) aged 55 and above in Rasoolpura slum in Secunderabad. It was just what they needed during the ongoing chilly winter nights! Thank you, Team Bosch for spreading warmth.

HCL Foundation Launches STEM & Digital Labs to Empower Students

We are excited to announce the successful inauguration of two transformative initiatives by HCLFoundation, the STEM Lab (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) at Government High School, Sanath Nagar on January 7, 2025, and the Digital Lab at Government High School, Golkonda on January 8, 2025. The STEM Lab at GHS Sanath Nagar will benefit approximately 300 students, while the Digital Lab at GHS Golkonda will cater approximately to 200 students, marking a significant step toward bridging educational and digital divides. The inauguration was graced by esteemed guests, including Simi Suri, Associate Director of HCL Foundation; Shashank Khare; Mahender Kasula; Mayur Patnala Kankanala (India/Bharat), Founder & Global CEO of Nirmaan Organization; Headmistresses of GHS Sanath Nagar and GHS Golkonda. Empowering Future Careers: Nirmaan Hosts Job Drive for 125 Students in Ameerpet

On December 27, 2024, we have hosted a comprehensive Job Drive at our Youth Employment Program center in Ameerpet supported by ADP, providing a platform for 125 students to explore career opportunities, network with industry professionals, and attend interviews. The event was designed to connect students with roles that align with their academic backgrounds, skills, and interests, fostering meaningful employment pathways. The job drive featured participation from HR representatives of leading companies, including Lipika Palo from Square Business Pvt Ltd, L. Deepika and M. Reshma from 3G HR Services, S. Enhancing Education Through Art: HCL Foundation’s Uday Project at GHS Golconda

On December 21, 2024, as part of the HCLFoundation’s Uday Project, HCL Tech employee Raghavendra Ganji dedicated 11 hours of volunteer service to enhance the GHS Golconda Digital Lab. Through his artistic efforts, he painted the logos of HCL Foundation and Nirmaan Organization, transforming the lab into a more vibrant and inspiring space.

This initiative reflects HCL’s commitment to fostering community development and collaboration. Mr. Ganji’s contribution exemplifies the power of individual volunteerism in creating a meaningful impact and enhancing educational environments.
