‘Pitch to Elevate’ – Empowering Women in FinTech with FactSet

To celebrate the success of our Women in FinTech beneficiaries placed at FactSet and to inspire the new batch supported by FactSet, we hosted the 'Pitch to Elevate' event on March 19, 2025, at the FactSet office. The students who have been placed at Factset spoke to the girls, it was a motivation for the new batch to connect with the alumni.

The event brought together 25 beneficiaries and 40 volunteers for a Mock Interview Session, where participants received practical interview experience and valuable feedback from industry professionals. The session also served as an opportunity for aspiring candidates to learn from those who had already stepped into the fintech industry.

We at Nirmaan extend our heartfelt thanks to FactSet, the volunteers, and the beneficiaries for coming together to make this event a truly meaningful and inspiring experience!

Dr. V. S. Alagu Varsini, I.A.S., Inaugurates AMD’s Project Vigyan – A Strategic STEM Education Initiative for Underserved Students in Telangana
As part of this initiative, 24 STEM laboratories have been established across institutions under Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS), Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TTWREIS), and Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV), covering seven districts in Telangana. Project Vigyan is designed to benefit more than 18,000 students from underserved backgrounds, fostering scientific temper, curiosity, and critical thinking among young learners and preparing them for future academic and career opportunities in STEM fields.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by Mr. Sanjay Churiwala, Corporate Vice President and Site Lead, AMD, and Mr. Mayur Patnala Kankanala (India/Bharat), Founder and Global CEO, Nirmaan Organization. The event featured engaging demonstrations and presentations by students from TSWRS Boath and TSWRS Manthani, showcasing their STEM projects and the practical application of scientific concepts. The interaction between students and volunteers added a dynamic and inspirational element to the proceedings, emphasizing the transformative potential of experiential learning and mentorship.
A total of 35 AMDers actively participated in the event, further reinforcing the company’s commitment to driving meaningful change in education through employee engagement and corporate responsibility.

Nirmaan & Carrier Technologies India Empower ZPHS Pothireddypally for a Brighter Future

In a transformative step toward quality education, Nirmaan Organization, with the support of Carrier Technologies India, has adopted ZPHS Pothireddypally, Sangareddy, Telangana, under the School Adoption Program.

This initiative aims to enhance education quality, bridge learning gaps, and equip 580+ students with essential skills for a brighter future.

Mr. Nanda K Lakkaraju, Managing Director, Carrier Technologies India, and Mrs. Valluru Kranthi, IAS, Collector, Sangareddy, inaugurated the newly enhanced facilities, alongside Anuradha Pulla, COO, Nirmaan Organization, Mr. Venkateshwarlu, DEO, Sangareddy, Mr. Vidya Sagar, Headmaster, ZPHS Pothireddypally, and other esteemed dignitaries.

With the support of 45 dedicated volunteers, the event reinforced a strong commitment to holistic student development.

emagine Volunteers Enrich Learning at Govt. High School, Kannamangala

In a pivotal step toward enhancing the learning environment for students under Nirmaan’s School Adoption Program, emagine, our valued donor, conducted a volunteering activity at Government High School, Kannamangala, Bengaluru, on March 18, 2025.

Graced by Mr. Sreelij Sreedharan, MD of emagine, who reinforced commitment to education in his open remarks, and with 21 volunteers leading efforts in school painting, career guidance, and menstrual hygiene awareness, this initiative impacted 600 students.

Career guidance sessions helped 102 Grade 10 students gain clarity on their future paths, while menstrual hygiene awareness sessions empowered 157 girls from Grades 8 and 9, ensuring their well-being and confidence.

Transforming Amaragiri: ServiceNow's Commitment to Empowering the Chenchu Community

Amaragiri, a remote village nestled in the heart of Nagarkurnool District, Telangana, is home to Chenchus, a resilient PVTG fishermen community that has long endured bonded labour and harsh conditions with limited livelihood opportunities.

Taking a transformative step, ServiceNow, under the Tribal Village Adoption Project, embraced the responsibility of uplifting Amaragiri. Responding to the community’s needs, 4 large and 20 small fishing nets were provided to enhance their livelihoods. Additionally, 10 camp tents equipped with solar lamps were distributed, ensuring better living conditions. Further strengthening the village infrastructure, solar streetlights were installed, creating a safer and brighter environment.

This initiative is a model of sustainability in both social and environmental aspects. Socially, it empowers the community by creating sustainable livelihood opportunities. Environmentally, it fosters clean energy adoption through the installation of solar-powered solutions.

Silicon Labs Organizes Free Multi-Specialty Health Camp in Hyderabad

In areas where healthcare facilities are inadequate, Silicon Labs stepped in to organize a free multi-specialty health camp at Basthi Dawakhana, Prem Nagar, Hafeezpet, Hyderabad, on March 16, 2025.

Facilitated by Nirmaan, this initiative provided free medical care to over 310 patients from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, with the support of six specialist doctors across Pediatrics, Gynecology, General Medicine, General Surgery, Orthopedics, and General Physician services.

The camp saw 33 girls and 23 boys under 18, while 153 women and 101 men from the adult population availed of the services. The highest number of consultations were for General Medicine (65), Pediatrics (56), and General Surgery (52), ensuring well-rounded medical support. Additionally, 56 lab tests, including CBP tests, were conducted to aid in accurate diagnoses.

Transforming Education: DBS Tech India Adopts Government High School in Sanath Nagar

Government High School in Sanath Nagar, #Hyderabad, situated in the heart of the city, has long struggled with inadequate infrastructure and a lack of essential educational resources, impacting the academic progress of its 800 students. Taking a transformative step towards change, #DBSTechIndia, with nirmaan.org as an enabling partner, inaugurated the School Adoption Program (SAP) on March 13, 2025. As part of this initiative, the school now boasts a Dining Hall Shed, RO Water Plant, 16 kV Solar Panels, Dual Desks, Sports Equipment, Computers & Printer, CC Cameras, and Science Lab Materials, significantly enhancing the learning environment. The inauguration ceremony was graced by DBS Tech enthusiastic volunteers , who unveiled these newly established facilities. Beyond infrastructure, volunteers also conducted an interactive Career Guidance Session for High school students. Our sincere gratitude to DBS Tech for their commitment to education and community development, ensuring a brighter future for young minds.

Empowering Women in Tech: TechBlocks Hosts Mock Interview & Career Guidance Workshop

On March 12 and 13, 2025, TechBlocks hosted a two-Day Mock Interview & Career Guidance Workshop at its Madhapur office for Nirmaan's Women in Tech skill centre students.

With the support of 10 volunteers, 17 students participated in mock interviews conducted by industry professionals, receiving valuable feedback to improve their interview skills. The sessions also included career talks, discussions on job market trends, and interview strategies, giving students a clearer understanding of career opportunities.

The event concluded with a performance review and final tips, ensuring participants left with more confidence and better preparation for their future job interviews.

Empowering Women: Free Cancer Screening Camp on Women’s Day

Breast and cervical cancer are among the most common cancers worldwide, with millions of diagnoses each year and tragically over 600,000 deaths annually. However, early detection and preventive care can save countless lives.

To address this, Silicon Labs, in collaboration with Nirmaan, has been conducting free screening camps every year across multiple regions.

On March 8, 2025, for International Women’s Day, we organized a free screening camp in Thumkunta, Telangana, benefiting 112 women with Breast and Cervical cancer Screening, facilitated by a team of three specialists, a General Physician, a Gynecologist, and a Radiologist, along with four nursing staff.
