Mayur Patnala Inaugurates CUL-AH 2025 at Mount Carmel College

Mr. Mayur Patnala Kankanala (India/Bharat), Founder & Global CEO of Nirmaan Organization, attended as the Chief Guest for the inauguration of CUL-AH, the flagship cultural festival of Mount Carmel College, Palace Rd, Bengaluru, on February 7, 2025.

Nirmaan was delighted to collaborate with this vibrant festival, which celebrates creativity, talent, and social impact. Mayur Patnala’s inspiring speech emphasized the importance of passion, both in personal pursuits and for the greater good of society.

Recognizing Nirmaan’s impact, the college leadership reaffirmed their support for the Youth Skill Development Program and Carbon Footprint Management, expressing keen interest in engaging students through the Eco-Champions program.

Empowering Young Girls: Inauguration of School Sports Ground at KGBV Osman Nagar

We are excited to share that our CSR partner, Infosys Foundation, hosted the soft launch of the Youth Employment Program Center in Warangal, Telangana on January 11, 2025. Enabled by nirmaan.org, the center has been operational since November 2024 and has achieved notable success by placing 56 individuals in various companies. Currently, 50 students are undergoing specialized training in ITeS and Full-Stack Java, equipping them with essential skills for promising career opportunities.

The event was graced by distinguished guests Mayur Patnala Kankanala (India/Bharat), founder and global CEO of Nirmaan, along with Nirmaan's senior leadership team, Venkat S K Tankasala and Anuradha Pulla; Renuka Devi, Warangal DRDA Officer; Krishna from Criscorp HR and CSR volunteers from Infosys Hyderabad DC, Mamata Trust.

FRYSP Beneficiaries Attend Industry Exposure & Workshop at Microsoft Bengaluru

On January 30th, our beneficiaries from the Future Ready Youth Skilling Program (FRYSP) had an enriching Industry Exposure Visit and Interview Readiness Workshop at Microsoft Bengaluru. Through Microsoft’s CSR initiative, we at Nirmaan.org are empowering 4,000 underprivileged youth across India with Technology and AI courses, ensuring they are equipped for the future workforce. This workshop, led by Microsoft volunteers, played a crucial role in enhancing their resume-building skills, mock interview experiences, and communication abilities—preparing them for real-world job opportunities. Beyond individual skilling, FRYSP is contributing to India's AI-driven workforce by making AI education accessible to youth from diverse backgrounds. As the implementation partner, we are driving large-scale skilling efforts, ensuring that young minds across the country are ready to lead in AI innovation and technology advancements. We thank Microsoft and the dedicated volunteers for making this possible. Together, we are building a future-ready, AI-empowered generation!

"Sparkling Cyberabad": A Step Towards a Cleaner and Greener Hyderabad

In a significant step towards making Hyderabad a cleaner and greener city, Inorbit Mall Hyderabad, in collaboration with its NGO partner Nirmaan.org and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), launched the “Sparkling Cyberabad” initiative on January 28, 2025. As part of this project, six automated electric litter pickup machines have been deployed in high-traffic locations across Cyberabad, aiming to improve urban sanitation and environmental sustainability. The machines will operate across key locations, including Kondapur (Botanical Garden), Madhapur (Inorbit Mall, Durgam Cheruvu Park), Hitech City (Shilparamam Park, Hitech City food streets, Hitex Arch), and Gachibowli (DLF Street food area, Raidurg Metro Station). Operating six days a week, these machines will help maintain cleanliness in public spaces, parks, and tech hubs. The launch event was attended by key representatives from Inorbit Malls, K Raheja Corp, GHMC, and others. As an enabling partner, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Inorbit Malls, K Raheja Corp, and GHMC for their support in enhancing urban cleanliness and sustainability.

Nirmaan.org Hosts Transformative 3-Day Training of Trainers Session

 January 24, 2025

Nirmaan.org successfully hosted a 3-day Training of Trainers (ToT) session from January 22 to 24, 2025, at Tabla Hotel, Kukatpally, Hyderabad, bringing together our skill center teams from across India.

The program kicked off with technical sessions led by Mr. varun kandimalla and Ms. Sravanthi b from Cognizant, covering Power Query, Power Pivot, Pivot Tables, Data Validation, and advanced Excel techniques. Mr. Rajesh Godi, a Data Engineering expert, introduced Python programming with topics like data types, conditional statements, loops, and hands-on coding exercises.

Meanwhile, Synchrony’s Ms. Prashanthi Naidu Tripurana and Ms. sneha karmele conducted interactive sessions on critical thinking, problem-solving, workplace ethics, communication, and presentation skills, equipping trainers to effectively guide their students.

Day two focused on advanced technical skills. Mr. Rajesh delved into Power BI, data structures, and string methods. Ms. SriRavali Samudrala, an external Java trainer, delivered a session on Core Java and Spring Boot Framework, followed by a hands-on CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) project. Mr. jeevan konduru, a Full-Stack Developer, led JavaScript training, including ES6+ features and practical sessions on form validation and building a digital clock. Synchrony’s Ms. Jyoti Peddagopu and Mr. Jagan Louis shared insights on time management, life skills, interview preparation, and personal branding.

The final day emphasized leadership and professional growth, with Nirmaan’s leadership, Mrs. Lathakumari Chidagala, presenting on skills and economic empowerment, Nirmaan's board member Mr. Venkat S K Tankasala addressing strategic planning, and highlighting the HR norms and policies presented by Mrs. Himasree Raghumudri. Mr. Jagan Louis focused on leadership development, covering active listening, communication, mentorship, and empowerment. The training concluded with an assessment, ensuring trainers are fully equipped with technical, leadership, and soft skills to make a lasting impact.

Driving Sustainability: Nirmaan.org Hosts Session at Carrier, Hyderabad

On 22nd January 2025, Nirmaan.org had the privilege of enabling an impactful session on “Environmental Sustainability: A Pathway Towards a Sustainable Future” at Carrier, Hyderabad.

As part of Carrier Technologies India’s L&D initiative Acharya, this session was taken by Dr. A.V. Ramanjaneyulu, Principal Scientist (Agronomy) & Head AICRP on Agroforestry from Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU), who shared invaluable insights on sustainable practices and their importance in shaping a healthier, greener future.

Dr. Ramanjaneyulu’s expertise and thought-provoking ideas left the participants inspired to take actionable steps toward environmental preservation in their personal and professional lives.

Qualcomm Sparks Scientific Curiosity with Educational Museum Visit

Students often learn theoretical concepts in their classrooms, but true enlightenment comes from hands-on exposure to exploration centers that ignite a real passion for learning.

With this vision,
Qualcomm, through its CSR initiatives, conducted a science exposure visit for over 210 10th and Intermediate students to the Birla Science Museum and DoScience on January 20 and 27, 2025.

Facilitated by Nirmaan, the visit exposed students to interactive exhibits and hands-on experiments, while the Birla Science Museum showcased various fields of science, including a dinosaurium with real fossils, a planetarium, and exhibits on the environment and human anatomy, deepening students' passion for science.

Empowering Education: Synchrony Distributes 131 Bicycles to Students in Mulugu District, Telangana

On January 20, 2025, as part of Nirmaan’s Village Adoption Program, Synchrony distributed 131 bicycles to underprivileged students at the Government Junior College in Govindaraopet, a remote village in the Mulugu district of Telangana.

The distribution drive, implemented by
Nirmaan Organization, was inaugurated by Smt. Dr. Danasari Anasuya (Seethakka), Hon’ble Minister for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, Women and Child Welfare, Government of Telangana. The event was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Shri Divakar T S, IAS, District Collector, Mulugu, Ms. Ameena Shaikh, Assistant Vice President, Technology and Operations, Synchrony, Ms. Bridget Priya, Assistant Vice President, Technology and Operations, Synchrony, and Mr. Mayur Patnala Kankanala (India/Bharat), Founder & Global CEO, Nirmaan Organization, along with other government officials and college staff.

This initiative was designed to address the challenges faced by students who walk 3 to 5 kilometers daily to attend college. By providing bicycles, Synchrony has significantly eased their commute, allowing students to focus more on their education and less on the hardships of travel.

We are grateful for the support of Synchrony in empowering the youth and enabling them to pursue their academic goals more comfortably and efficiently.

OpenText India Adopts Four Tribal Villages in Telangana to Bridge Rural-Urban Gap

To contribute to developing rural communities in Telangana and bridging the gap between rural and urban areas, OpenText India has adopted four remote tribal villages including LB Nagar, Jaggannapeta, Chandru Thanda, and Kodishalakunta in #Mulugu District, Telangana. The groundbreaking ceremony for LB Nagar, Jaggannapeta was inaugurated by the Honorable Minister Dr. D. Anasuya Seethakka on January 20, 2025.

As part of Nirmaan’s One Corporate - One Village initiative, this will directly benefit over 2,350 residents in these two villages, focusing on key development projects such as the construction of Anganwadi centers, water tanks, and borewells, installation of solar lighting systems, distribution of bicycles to students, school repairs, health camps, and more.

The program's launch was graced by Telangana Minister Sangeetha Yanamandra, Vice President, Engineering and Site Leader for OpenText Hyderabad, and Mayur Patnala Kankanala (India/Bharat), Founder and Global CEO of Nirmaan Organization. Senior leadership from OpenText and Nirmaan, along with key government representatives, were also present at the event.

Qualcomm Empowers Future Innovators Through STEM Camp in Hyderabad

Qualcomm successfully conducted a four-day residential camp session at Don Bosco School, Hyderabad, from January 19 to 20 and January 26 to 27, 2025, for over 210 Nirmaan’s Aqriti Career Saathi Program students, supported by Qualcomm. These students are pursuing 10th grade and Intermediate 1st year across various schools and colleges in and around Hyderabad. The highlight of the camp was the STEM Model Preparation activity, where students were provided with raw materials and a conceptual framework to design innovative models. With the efforts of 45 volunteers, this hands-on experience enabled students to apply their creativity and problem-solving skills, building fully functional working models from scratch. We thank Qualcomm and its leadership for their persistent commitment to extending their generosity in empowering students through CSR initiatives with Nirmaan.
