Synchrony and Nirmaan Establish AI Digital Learning Lab for 750 Girl Students

Synchrony, in collaboration with Nirmaan Organization, inaugurated a state-of-the-art Disruptive Digital Learning (DDI) and AI Lab for over 750 girl students from Class 6 to 9 at Bira Ballavpara Santipipasa Balika Vidyalaya, Kolkata, on November 21, 2025. This marks Nirmaan’s first-ever introduction of an AI Lab in a school, an important milestone in expanding access to advanced learning opportunities for young learners.

The initiative aims to equip young girls with essential digital skills and provide them with hands-on exposure to emerging technologies. A dedicated trainer has been placed to guide the students and ensure consistent, practical learning throughout the year.

Synchrony expressed immense appreciation for the strong support extended by the Headmaster and school staff, which played a crucial role in making this initiative possible.

During the event, ten Synchrony volunteers engaged with the students, distributing geometry boxes, exam pads, and rulers, while encouraging them to explore technology with curiosity and confidence.

The ceremony was graced by dignitaries from Synchrony, including Viswanaathan R., Assistant Vice President - CSR, and Prasit Kothari, Vice President - Information Architect.
