India is at the forefront of the global AI revolution, and the untapped talent in smaller cities holds the potential to shape this future. The AI Readiness Program is a structured AI skilling initiative designed to bridge the gap between emerging talent and industry-ready opportunities in Artificial Intelligence.
Built on a Hub-and-Spoke model, the program operates through hub institutions and spoke colleges, establishing Centres of Excellence (CoEs) in emerging regions. Through a Microsoft-aligned curriculum, well-equipped lab infrastructure, hands-on learning, and strong industry linkages, the program equips students and youth with practical, employable AI skills.

I always wanted to learn industry-relevant AI skills, but financial constraints limited my access to such opportunities. My journey changed when I joined the Artificial Intelligence Centre of Excellence at my college, supported by the Redington Foundation in collaboration with Nirmaan Organization. The 3-month training program helped me gain advanced AI skills, improve my soft skills, and strengthen my technical knowledge. Today, I am proud to have secured a job at Tata Consultancy Services.
