Ailment
Shubham, a B.Tech 4th Year student of IIT Jodhpur, is currently admitted in the ICU at Max Saket in critical condition due to acute liver failure. His liver has stopped functioning adequately, and doctors have confirmed that a liver transplant is the only life-saving option.
Due to the urgency of the situation, the transplant may have to be done using an incompatible blood group donor (his brother), which makes the procedure more complex and expensive.
Shubham has no history of alcohol consumption or substance abuse. His condition is not due to any unhealthy habits.
Prognosis
The doctors have clearly indicated that the transplant needs to be performed within the next 36 hours to save his life.
Until then, Shubham remains in the ICU, where medical expenses are around ₹2 lakhs per day.
The total estimated cost of the liver transplant is ₹29–35 lakhs. Through institutional support and personal efforts, we are trying to arrange part of the amount, but there is still a shortfall of ₹30 lakhs, which is urgently required to proceed with the surgery.
Without timely financial support, arranging the transplant within the critical window will be extremely difficult.

Background
Shubham comes from a financially weak family background. His father is no more, and his family does not have the means to arrange such a large amount on short notice.
Despite these challenges, Shubham has been a bright and hardworking student. He has secured 10 SGPA in two semesters at IIT Jodhpur and has already been placed in Reliance, reflecting his dedication and potential. He has a promising future ahead.
