Empowering Government School Students with Digital Learning Skills
About the Campaign
In today's world, knowing how to read and write is no longer enough.
Children also need to know how to search, learn, verify, and grow using technology.
Seeing this gap firsthand, Gayathri and her friends decided to take action.
Through this campaign, they are working to bring digital access and learning tools into
government school classrooms.
List of Donors
'How-To' bridges this gap by teaching students how to learn online, not just how to use a device.
What We Do
We have created a systematic, hands-on digital literacy curriculum that helps students:
Essential Digital Tools
Use Gmail, Google, and other essential digital tools confidently
Smart Information Search
Search for information effectively and responsibly online
Learning Platforms
Explore Khan Academy, Coursera, Udemy, and Skillshare for self-learning
Curiosity & Growth
Expand curiosity beyond textbooks through guided online learning
The pilot "How-To" program is being implemented with
30 students at Kondakal Government School, Hyderabad.
Closing the Digital Learning Gap
Right now, these students only get limited exposure to technology.
During our bi-monthly sessions, we carry just two laptops to the classroom.
In a one-hour session, it becomes impossible for every child to explore,
practice, and learn independently.
Digital learning requires consistent practice, curiosity, and individual exploration.
Without daily access to devices, students are unable to fully absorb or apply what they are learning.
This fundraiser aims to change that.
The Impact You Create
Digital Access
Students get access to shared laptops and essential accessories
for regular use in school.
Hands-on Learning
Children practice real digital skills through guided activities,
projects, and exploration.
Future Readiness
Students build confidence using technology for learning,
research, and self-growth.
How These Devices Will Be Used
Once the laptops are handed over to the school:
Students will be assigned small weekly digital projects
Projects will be supervised by trained teachers
Teachers will receive clear guidelines on permitted usage
Parental controls and restrictions will be implemented to prevent misuse
The laptops will remain school-owned resources, ensuring collective and responsible access
This ensures that technology becomes a learning tool, not a distraction.
Be Part of Their First Digital Step
Help government school children learn how to think, search, and grow in a digital world.
Every contribution brings us closer to a classroom where every child gets
a turn to explore, learn and discover.
