OpenText Partnership Supports Local Villages and Schools
Since 2022, OpenText has partnered with Nirmaan to help improve rural communities in India with projects like the Village Adoption Program, Hope In A Cup, and the Nirmaan School Adoption Program. From improving schools to providing clean water, OpenText supports Nirmaan’s mission to promote social initiatives, active citizenship, social leadership, and the spirit of volunteerism.
Recent Events
In 2025, OpenText India adopted four tribal villages in Telangana as part of Nirmaan’s One Corporate - One Village initiative. This helped provide life-changing improvements to more than 2,350 residents with:
- Access to clean drinking water
- Solar lighting systems
- School repairs and upgrades
- Health camps
- Other essential community resources
The program, celebrating a new chapter of corporate social responsibility, officially launched on January 20, 2025, with Telangana Minister Sangeetha Yanamandra and Nirmaan Founder Mayur Patnala Kankanala in attendance.
