Under a calm Bengaluru sky, 115 volunteers from Adobe Bangalore and Nirmaan gathered at 11 AM to breathe life into our Backpacks for Dreams 2.0 campaign. Together, they transformed a corporate meeting room into a hub of creativity and compassion - assembling 200 school kits designed to carry more than just notebooks and pens.
Long tables held stacks of navy‑blue backpacks, blank canvas totes, and tidy piles of stationery: notebooks, pencils, pens, erasers, sketchbooks, and more. With brushes poised and markers at the ready, volunteers painted uplifting messages—“Believe in Your Dreams,” “Shine On,” and “Learn, Grow, Repeat”—on each eco‑friendly tote.
By 1 PM, over 100 unique designs had emerged in kaleidoscopes of color, each tote a testament to hope and sustainability. While these bags brighten a student’s day, they also replace single‑use carriers- encouraging young learners to treasure both their education and the planet.
In parallel, teams sorted stationery and assembled complete kits:
These streamlined steps ensured every student received identical support, creating a level playing field for curious minds to explore.
At 2PM, Nirmaan’s vans delivered the packed kits to Government High School, Thanisandra. Under a canopy of hopeful faces, volunteers distributed each bag with care. A few scenes stand out:
In Bengaluru alone, thousands of children lack durable school bags. By gifting 200 ecototes and kits, we took a small step toward bridging that gap. More importantly, we showed these students that their community believes in them—and that learning can flourish when compassion meets action.
As the sun dipped low, volunteers packed away paints and markers, their hearts full. What began at 11 AM as an afternoon drive ended with new connections and a shared sense of purpose.
Thank you to the 115 Adobe and Nirmaan volunteers whose brushes, hands, and smiles turned supplies into symbols of possibility. And to the 200 young learners at Government High School, Thanisandra—may these backpacks carry you confidently into every lesson, every dream, and every tomorrow.
