Nirmaan Organization

We have only one passion, The rise of a great Nation

bhimareddy
Nirmaan-BhimaReddy Memorial Scholarship was started by Mr. Ramesh Reddy Kandi son of Shri Late Bhima Reddy.
Ramesh 's few words about the Scholarship:

I started contributing for NIRMAAN's NSMP program, in memory of my Late Father Bhima Reddy Kandi. My dad being Ex-service Man served Indian military for about 9 years and later struggled a lot to complete his education and reach a respectable position in society. In that course he realized the importance of education and right from our childhood in spite of many hurdles he made sure that all his children are given good education and he succeeded in his journey.

But not everyone is so lucky to have someone driving us throughout childhood, So there comes the great initiative of NIRMAAN's NSMP which will provide monetary help and career guidance to merit students who have financial constraints.

I take this moment to thank NSMP Nirmaan team for providing an opportunity to serve a noble cause. I have personally witnessed their honest work throughout the recruitment process of scholarship and making sure that Scholarship is given to deserving students and providing constant updates to the donors about the progress of students.

Realizing the importance of the thought my dad has implanted in me, I would like to extend my support to the merit students to realize their dream.

And at the same time, I urge everyone to be part of this noble cause and I assure the sense of satisfaction in JOY OF GIVING is always going to be invaluable

nrjuturu
Among all the people who walk into and out of our lives very few people leave a lasting impression, Juturu Narayana Reddy was one such person. An enthusiastic personality with a charming smile always made him close to each and every person who he came across. Though a strong academician cricket was something he was very much passionate about. Fondly called as 'Tiger', Reddy used to lead the team to victory with his attacking style and never give up attitude. He was an epitome of selflessness who eagerly helped many people in whatever way he could. He has been a great source of motivation to all of us and we always looked up to him both in academics and personal front. However the almighty has been unjust towards us invited our dear friend left to the holy abode very soon. We definitely miss him a lot and pray that he finds peace wherever he is." This is what friends of Mr. Reddy had to say about him.

With a noble intention of making their friend live in the smiles of some wonderful kids, friends of Mr. Reddy initiated "Nirmaan-Narayana Reddy Juturu Memorial Scholarship" in association with Nirmaan. This scholarship aims to fund the education of 5 college going graduates and 7 school children. We applaud the friends of such a great soul for their charitable activity which has been a source of inspiration for many such scholarships to follow.

On 27th March 2013, Nirmaan launched “Nirmaan - Govirneni Mohan Rao Memorial Scholarship” in the memory of Shri Govirneni Mohan Rao, a famous advocate and politician on the occasion of his first death anniversary. Ramya and Varun Damerla, grand children of Shri Mohan Rao have been greatly inspired by his life and his message to them. His love for people around and his service nature have taught great lessons for them. As an expression of their love towards their grandfather, they have decided to launch this memorial scholarship and support and shape a student’s future. This scholarship would benefit one bright student with financial challenges for four years with Rs 10,000 scholarship per year till his graduation.

Nirmaan - Govirneni Mohan Rao Memorial Scholarship serves as a great example for many of us.
Srikanth. M.S.VNirmaan NSMP team started  "Nirmaan-Srikanth.M.S.V" Memorial Scholarship from the academic year 2014. Friends of Srikanth have started this with Nirmaan NSMP team to enlighten the future of the poor and meritorious students in the name of Srikanth.

About Srikanth by his friends:

"The idea of a close friend not being around anymore is never easy, especially if he has touched our lives in many ways someone with whom we shared many memories. We took it for granted that he will be around but fate had other plans... it was cruel. MAMIDI SATYA VEERA SRIKANTH (1985-2012), known to many friends as ITS (IIT Top Seat) was always a man of magic, equally good at academics and sports. We could never figure out how he cleared every exam he faced with flying colours with so much ease. We had to settle for a reason that some guys are just incredibly gifted and talented. Srikanth had percentages close to 100 in schooling, intermediate and in his graduation at BITS Pilani. He worked for 5 years in companies like IBM, Cisco, and Fisheye. He was a mentor and role model for many people around and someone we could always count on.
But as much as we thought we knew Srikanth the humble and helpful genius, loving son, caring brother, the prankster, sports fanatic... there is something we didn't know about. He cared a lot for other causes... that there are other lives he touched. He didn't talk much, but his actions proved it. He donated his first few months of salary to school kids in need and never mentioned it to anyone. As much as we miss him, the sad reality has started to sink in that we cannot bring him back... but what we can do is pay it forward for a cause that he cared about... take it forward so that his memory lives and his actions continue to inspire everyone to make life a little easier for those in need."

Nirmaan Sponsor a Child Program(NSCP)

Social Case:

The following social situations that we see in our day to day life necessitate this program:

We often come across parents from extremely BPL families in slums and rural areas struggling to meet the requirements of their children such as books, uniform, bags, shoe etc. to send the children to nearby Government and small private schools. As a result, both children and parents gets discouraged with their condition and either discontinue going to school in between or become irregular to school which impacts their education. These families need some social intervention from organization like ours to facilitate their school education.

We keep hearing from our localities that the child from a particular financially backward family lost his/her parent and is struggling to go to the school as they do not have their valuable parent who can provide care, guidance and minimum requirements like books, uniform, bags, shoe etc. Such children need some social intervention from organization like ours which can give them confidence, guidance and financial assistance.

We keep coming across small children working in fields, small shops, hotels etc. in such a tender age without going to school as their families cannot afford sending their children to school due to their poor financial conditions. We keep wondering how we can help these kids to send them to school and we keep feeling ourselves helpless. But as a responsible organization, we need to figure out a way to help such children.

Objective

NSCP aims at assisting the children from the following categories through financial assistance and counseling to incentivize and encourage them to complete their school education.

  1. Orphans

  2. Child Labour

OBJECTIVE : Help the mentee to have a well defined ambition & guide them to have a path to achieve their goals. Help the mentee develop confidence and a positive outlook on life through individual attention.

KIND OF MENTORSHIP – We will mentor the students in academics and also help them deal with personal & additional issues such as improving communication skills, Computer skills, gathering information about various opportunities.

DURATION – As long as the mentee needs the mentor. Mentor can meet the mentee in the beginning of the program and keep constant updates once in a fortnight.

TARGET MENTEES – 18 years to 21 years (Graduation Pursuing) students performing well in academics and awarded with scholarship under NSMP.

SETTING AND ACHIEVING GOALS:  Ask the mentee if they have any career path in mind. (It could be anything from teacher, lawyer to IAS officer). If the mentee does not have a career path in mind educate them about the various career options available and based on the academic performance/interests suggest a few career options to the mentee (Do not impose your beliefs on the mentee, let the mentee decide what he/she wants to do)

If a career path is decided, do research and educate the mentee on the (Nirmaan Vidya Help Line project can support us in this aspect)

  1. Exams to be taken
  2. Colleges they can attend to pursue the career
  3. Scholarships (government/otherwise) available – This is very important because a lot of students have to give up on education because of their inability to pay fees.
  4. Make them prepare for alternate plans.
  5. Constantly motivate them with encouraging words, be an elder sister or brother to them.
  6. Always remember that every person is different and if any issue arises to which you cant find a solution, please approach the lead or other mentors.

Few suggestions that can be given to the MENTEE

  1. Participating in Group Discussions, Debates, Exhibitions and Educational Fairs. (Knowledge Gaining)
  2. Taking internships, fellowships, Certifications Programs. (Practical Experience)

Just treat the mentee as your elder sister or brother & guide them constantly.
